The bright sun had already gone sleep, making the sky pitch dark. The villager had already gone to sleep, thinking that it was their time to sleep. Indeed it was a proper time to sleep. But two individual was wondering in the darkness. The forest was getting scary. Two of them were stepping on the territory of wild animals. The dried leaves made as they strode onto them were making a crunching sound. The sun was visible in the sky and without its light, they would surely be lost. The owl's cry made the moment more serious. The friend who was hiding behind his best friend was throbbing the minute he heard wild beast growls. He was a wimpy type. Even though he was not the type to feel scared, he was also tingling while looking left and right.
"Hey, It would be alright? right? I'm..not... getting..a... good vibe from there..."
The one behind said while clinging onto to other. His hands were sticking onto him. In general, he was stuck onto him like glue.
"O-Of, course, Why're you so afraid? This forest is like our home. We go through it every day." He tried to put weight on his words but failed to do so. The words weren't towards his friend rather it was for him. He was the one who was feeling scared. Well, it would be shameful if he revealed that.
"I...I...thinks it's a bad idea that we left this late at night...." He was looking at something that was deep in the dark. "I think it's a bad idea to come here..." His hands were cold as ice. Unless he went back, his body would continue to shiver.
"W-What the heck dude! we came here so far, now you're saying that you want to go back! That's totally absurd." The so-called brave friend became angry all of a sudden. He also wanted to go back but couldn't convince himself as it would prove him as a scared cat. To prove his bravery he advanced with his only friend.
"It.... would be fine....in daylight. However, in the night the forest completely changes its look." The voice was shaking with him. It made a rather funny conversation than a significant one.
"D-Don't worry, im with you. You can rest assured. The way is not far. We can reach there if we walk a few steps."
"There's.... a monster in the forest. We...have...to...be careful." He looked at his surroundings.
"That's absurd. All those things are man-made. Those villagers think of us as fools. Hahaha." After that, he began laughing on a large scale.
"Don't. ..laugh like that."
"That monster or whatever wouldn't come today. You know the rules. He would come tomorrow."
"Oh, right." The frightened one finally gave a relieved smile. His smile had also given a bit of energy to the brave friend.
"That's what I'm talking about. Your face look dazzling if you smile like tha---" Without finishing a word he was dragged by some unknown force from behind. It was so sudden that none of them could utter a single parting words. They should have go back to him is what the wimpy friend is thinking at that moment. They certainly made a wrong decision.
