"You were fallen unconsciously on the ground. Are you okay now?"
"Y-yeah, I think so. How long I was unconscious?"
"Probably for ten minutes or so. Well, I don't exactly know how long. I came back a minute ago." Loki tried to stand up but wasn't able to. Seeing this Sakura uttered, "You should rest inside. Your body is not fully healed yet."
"I'm not that weak. I got things to do." Loki smiled for the first time in a while. The refreshing smile of his made Sakura smile also. He was unconditionally feeling peace in mind. It was because of the dream of his father. He got to see his father even if it's in a dream. Thinking that sure made him happy. He was constantly remembering the words his father spoke with a strong force,
"Loki, Use your Brain Not Your Heart."
Those words filled with tense were enough to give him courage. Loki who was wandering around aimlessly now found motivation for life.
"Okay, Let's get inside."
Sakura helped Loki to get inside and laid him down on the floor. Unfortunately, there wasn't a bed in that cottage.
"Let me ask you something. Have you seen a hunter? He always carries a shotgun."
"A Hunter? No, I haven't. But there's a saying like some kind of monster appears at night and kills the villagers. It happens every weekend."
"Monster?"
"Yeah, People believe a sacrifice has to be made otherwise everyone would be killed."
"That's absurd."
"No, If you don't select a person, it could randomly kill one."
"What the heck?"
"Because of it, the population is slowly decreasing."
"When it first appear?"
"To be precise, A month ago. The village was established at that time. So it could be the forest monster."
"You people are full of superstitions. Don't believe in that kind of thing."
"Hump! If you don't believe me then just come with me tonight."
"Aren't you afraid of that so-called Forest monster?"
"I-I'm, But for the sake of experiment, I want to see it. I want to witness the monster that no one else has seen. Those who see it never comes back."
"A question, The body, Did it take the body with it?"Loki asked a reasonable question.
"We never found anybody. Only the blood of that person was left behind. Sometimes there's a piece of cloth that can be found but it's not always. It was to make sure that he had devoured out the sacrifice and he's now pleased with us."
"Bullshit!"
"Fine, Tonight we go and check that monster!" Sakura was a bit angry because Loki wasn't believing at of her sayings rather he was grinning as if it's a funny story, to begin with.
"Is today a weekend?" Loki asked as if he got something to tease her.
"Well, No! Sh*t How can I forgot about that."
"You sure are an airhead. Hahaha"
"Damn You! T-Tomorrow! Tomorrow! We can go tomorrow. Tomorrow is a weekend."
"Haha" Loki kept laughing to the fullest of his heart. It's been a while since he had laughed like that. His shoulder wasn't heavy with guilt rather it became light. He had finally understood there's nothing wrong to be weak.
"You sure are cheerful today. You were depressed a moment ago. What made you so cheering?"
"Well, Probably because of your jokes, Haha"
"I didn't say any joke! Stop mocking me!" Sakura became quite Angry and averted his face from Loki's sights."
"Fine, Fine. I wouldn't."
