The crying didn't stop.
"If only.....I..... spend more time with her."
Jack was searching the room and he found a letter placed on the table near the bed.
*A suicide letter?* Jack thought to himself.
He picked up the letter. The handwriting was neat and clean. But Jack was unable to read it. "Is it African literature? I don't understand a single word."
Loki moved his face towards Jack while sobbing. Seeing the letter, he took it from Jack's hand.
"It's the Japanese language." * you illiterate folk*
The letter was like that-
I know its foolishness. I tried my best but failed. I feel guilty towards my father. I feel guilty for leaving him on death bed. Loki, If you are reading this don't feel guilty. It's not your fault. Also Jack thanks for giving my father a proper burial. I really appreciate it.
Lead a happy life.-Saliva
Loki put down the letter and started whining further.
"You didn't even tell me about your guilt once. Why.....Saliva...Why"
"Come one, Now is not the time to sit and cry. We have to do something about the body."
"-Shut up! You only think about winning the game!" Loki shouted, "Leave me alone!"
Jack went outside the hotel room swiftly as he didn't expect Loki to act that way. but he was in shock of losing Saliva.
As Jack went out he saw John standing. He might be waiting for them. After all, They did say they will be leaving today morning.
"So, Everything is alright. Shall we leave now?"
John said.
"..."
Jack didn't reply to his question. He was confused about what to tell him.
Shortly Loki also came out of the room while carrying Saliva in his arms.
"Do you have a car?" Loki asked. John replied in the affirmative. "Then start the car. We are leaving now."
They left the hotel and stood in John's car.
"Where are we going now?" asked John as he was driving."What's wrong with her? Is she sick?"
"Dead"-Loki
John put pressure on the break making the car stop.
"Huh? Are you serious?"
"Yeah, Just drive to the forest. We are going to the forest."
"...uh.....hmm...."-John
The car was more like a racing car than normal cars we use for our daily life. It took about 4 hours for them to reach the point where the forest starts. They had to walk forward on foot. Loki got down from the car and started stepping slowly while holding up Saliva. Loki did tell her about the game they are playing. She was very much against it. She was a pure woman without any stains.
*Whoever comes near me always dies.* Loki thought that it was his god damn fate.
The treehouse was burned out. Only the ashes were left behind. The old man's grave was on the front of the house. Loki put down Saliva's body on the right side of the grave and started to dig up on the left side. Jack and John were behind Loki. Loki puts the body of Saliva into the grave he dug right next to his father.
" Goodbye Saliva. Hope you get to see your loving father." Loki said as he covered the grave. Loki's heart was crammed with sadness. A sparrow was flying over them.
"Another life goes by."-Jack
