Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

I then saw Gregor come into my field of vision, just looking down at me. He held out a hand, and I hesitantly took it. When I looked over to Jasper, he looked pissed off, and Zelda was just shaking her head. Gregor cleared his throat, gaining my attention.

"If you will follow me. I will show you where you will be staying." I just nodded and followed behind him. I was barely paying attention to where we were going, which I know will come back to bite me in the ass. My head was reeling. I can't believe that woman is my soulmate. I also pissed her off, which I don't know why, but I actually felt upset about it. We finally stopped, and he pointed to a door.

"This is where you will be staying. I am a few doors further down the hall on the same side. I am kind of like your human liaison. I can help you keep up with your family, answer any questions you may have, and I'll also help teach you the way of this world. For now, get some rest. I'll be by to get you for breakfast in the morning." I nodded my head again and went to go into my room when I stopped and called after Gregor.

"Gregor. I'm very sorry as to how I acted and what I said back there. I'm not trying to give excuses, but I honestly I am out of my element right now, and I thought I was basically going to become some sex slave to an old dude." He softly smiled.

"I understand. Get some rest." With that, he turned and continued walking down the hall.

I opened up the door and walked into a room that was literally almost the size of my whole entire house back home. This is wild. The bed was huge and had red satin sheets. There was a huge tv on the other side of the room. Thank god I'm going to need some Netflix and Hulu to get me through this. I wonder if they have a gym.

I continued walking till I found a walk-in closet already filled with clothes that looked brand new and somehow still my style. Once I kept walking, I walked into a huge bathroom. It had granite tops and backsplash—heated marble floors. The shower was massive, and it even had a separate bathtub that looked like one of those jet tubs. This may not be too bad. I'll have to remember to ask Gregor about my family tomorrow morning.

I got settled in for the night after the longest hot shower I've ever had. When you live with six other siblings, you never get to enjoy showers. It's always in and then out. Plus, the water pressure here was perfect, and it seemed like the hot water would never run out. I just put on an oversized shirt and got comfortable in the bed. The sheets were so soft and smooth; it felt like this bed was the perfect amount of cloud-like and still firm. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out.

I woke up the next day to a knock on my door. It was Gregor.

"Miss, it's time for breakfast; meet me outside your room in five minutes. The Queen doesn't like to wait." I scoffed and rolled my eyes. ThE QuEeN DoEsN't LiKe tO wAiT. Spoiled brat.

I threw the blankets off me and threw on some comfy shorts, and slipped my feet into the bunny slippers I had brought from home. Don't judge me, my baby sister, Violeta, who is five, got them for me for my birthday. I threw my hair up into a messy bun, brushed my teeth, and made my way towards the door. I swung it open just as Gregor was about to knock again. I caught him by surprise and just kept walking past him. When I didn't hear footsteps, I stopped and turned around to see him wide eyed and looking me up and down. He then looked up at me, and I scowled, thinking this older man really is a pig.

"Are you really going down dressed like that?" I rolled my eyes.

"Obviously. Let's go. Remember, her royal majesty does not like to be waiting." I said in a mocking tone to what he said earlier. He caught up with me, and this time I paid attention to how we got to the kitchen. Simple really. Just follow the hallway all the way down, once at the grand staircase, walk down, turn left and go down another hallway, then you'll make a right down another hallway till you finally reach this massive dining room. They should honestly make maps or just put signs on the wall like a hospital.

As soon as we walked in, I noticed Jasper, Zelda, and then a few others I didn't recognize. One was this girl who looked fairly young and kind of resembled the Queen; the other girl looked more the Queen's age with flaming red hair and eyes that were shooting daggers at me. She was pretty but also looked like a bitch. I then laid eyes on an older gentleman with black back hair, and his eyes were completely black too—no sclera, or commonly known as the white part of the eye. I then finally looked towards the head of the table to find her—this absolutely gorgeous woman. When we made eye contact, she looked like she was fuming but trying to keep her cool. I just furrowed my eyebrows at her, confused as to what I did now to piss her off now.

I looked over to Gregor to find him shaking his head then waving his hand to take a seat. I picked the seat next to Zelda. She always had a calming nature to her, and I was freaking out. The food, however, looked delicious. A full breakfast of eggs, french toast, they had bacon and sausage out too.

"Hey, Zel. How'd you sleep?" She looked like she was about to respond when I heard what sounded like an angry snort and a fork clatter against the plate.

We both looked up to see the Queen with her eyes closed, and her trying to steady her breathing. I also noticed how the red-haired girl next to her put her hand on her arm, trying to soothe her. I don't know where it came from, but I started to feel very pissed off she was touching my soulmate.

"This is all your fault. Everything, you pathetic human. You don't deserve to be here or to be her mate." The red-haired girl seethed while every word dripped with venom. All of a sudden, fangs popped out, and every inch of her eyes became red.

Well, this was a shitty breakfast. I didn't even get to eat. I stood up and started making my way towards the door. I stopped and turned around and looked at this puta, who had her hands still on my mate.

"Listen here bitch. I didn't ask to come here. I was forced out of my home, away from my family, and transported into a world I never knew existed. I didn't mean to-" I looked between her and who was supposedly my mate. "Come between whatever you two have going on." I kept most of the irritation out of my voice. Mostly pissed at the fact that I was so upset that my so-called soulmate was seeing someone else when she shouldn't be at all. I don't even know her. I then looked directly into my soulmate's eyes.

"I don't know anything about your world or the ins and outs of mating bonds. I've only read works of human fiction, which may or may not be true. However, if you didn't want me here, and if you wanted to be with... Her." I said with disgust and gestured towards the red-headed bitch, herself. "Then just fucking reject me, and send me home." After that, I couldn't look at her or be in that room anymore. I quickly walked out and made my way towards my room.
