Grace stood up from the chair to leave the room with determination. But before she did, she glared at Adrian once and spoke in an angry voice.
"How dare you even think about marrying my daughter when you have become crippled? Even if you are doing fine, still it would be my daughter's choice whether to accept you or not! And I can tell you for sure, she would not want to be with a man like you." She insulted him without showing any mercy.
Adrian clenched his fist and his fury skyrocketed. Grace tried to walk away from there but then something stopped her from going out of the room. Adrian controlled his rage on time and a smirk escaped his mouth.
"I know one of your hospital's doctors did something illegal and you tried to cover it up to save the hospital's name. Also, isn't the conference today, is all about how to solve that issue without getting your name involved in that mess?" He asked while looking at her with a meaningful look.
