After finally making our way out of the dense central area of the Ingal forest heading westward, the kobold dungeon comes into view. And so it begins.
"Huh?" Larien stops in his tracks, halting our movement any further towards the dungeon. "Something doesn't feel right."
Sharp instincts. Not bad. With even a monochrome of good instincts, you can preserve your life even if just a second or two.
"Indeed," I start, reading off the script I prepared myself beforehand. "The mana surrounding the dungeon is unnaturally ominous."
"Really?" Darius questions, growing tenser. "I don't sense anything."
