"Oww!" Darius winces in pain as he clutches his shoulder that got a little scorched by Cerberus's flames.
Okay I think this has gone on long enough. We've been running, fighting, and hiding from Cerberus for about forty-five minutes now. Any longer and I think they really will die. Darius has collapsed twice, and Eleric and Larien look like they'll pass out any minute.
Incomprehensible though as I'm the only one who's actually putting up a fight against Cerberus, who isn't even trying. He snapped back to his senses about twenty minutes ago and recognized me, so he's been trying even less since then, and these guys already look so worn out. Their future is beginning to look really bleak. I know this was all meant to gauge their strengths, weaknesses, and potential, but this is proving to be a massive waste of time.
