Ugh! Noisy! Why is it so noisy? Who are they anyway? They look like... maybe a party? Oh yeah... I'm in a world like that now. I've been totally isekaied right? So then, they must be adventurers or something? Then where is this place? It kind of… It actually kind of looks like forger's tower in Kingdom Crawlers.
R: "Now he's completely ours! You're amazing Fiona!"
Too loud. My ears are ringing. It's like they're more sensitive than usual. Can't they just keep it down?
"Shut up..." I mutter in a bit of a daze.
I need to think. Am I really in Forger's tower? If I am, then does that mean I'm in Elrev? Really? Is this world actually Elrev? No way right? Well, that would make sense seeing as Net is the one who actually created Kingdom Crawlers, the huge high spec VRMMORPG that over a million people played. A god creating a game about his own realm huh? Hm? My body. Oh that's right, I'm in a different body too. I feel different- my hearing and sight are just as high and sensitive as my character in the game. It feels weird yet strangely, it feels as if it was the body I was born in... Ah!
T: "Hey, are you ignoring me?"
What now? It feels bad the way he grabs my hair suddenly. It's stirring up memories that I don't want to recall. Never. This feeling... shit!
"I'm pretty sure I requested for peace and quiet!" I state, smacking his hand away from his grasp on my hair- at least I intended to.
"Ahh!!" The man screams as he clutches the now gushing open wound created when I ripped his arm clean off his shoulders.
Shit! What did I do?! All I wanted was to smack his hand away but I ended up ripping it off! It seems that for a second, I got too emotional and couldn't control my strength. This never happened in the game because the settings where adjustable for the real-like experience of strength and agility. But what is even more surprising, is that I just ripped this man's arm off but yet, I... don't feel anything. I mean I knew I was a bit cold and callous even before I died, since I never socialized much with people, but this is too dumbfounding. I at least thought I had the mere decency to feel even the slightest bit of guilt or compassion, but right now, I just feel nothing. I was mad for a second earlier when that girl kept calling me a familiar and a slave, but now even that has washed away. Could it be because of this body? I did create my character to be a ruthless and unwavering god of war. So this body has more than just physical effects it seems.
"Hm? Wait what?! This body..." I think as I stare at my reflection on the puddle that rippled before me. No way! No wonder that guy was looking down on me, this body is the one I had before I obtained the special limited edition item, 'Reset body stone'.
In Kingdom Crawlers, once your physical features are selected, you can't modify or reset it, so it's very important to give much thought about what you want to look like- that is, unless you obtain the 'Reset body' stone. It was a limited edition item that was part of the rewards after completing an SS-level raid on a dungeon... solo. Of course being the best player in Kingdom Crawlers, I easily obtained said item and reshaped my body to be more muscular, and taller. It's unfortunate, but the first time, I didn't pay much attention to my character's features and just kept my real life body type, which was the default. The only changes I made were making myself about 2 inches taller, and giving myself dark long hair. Which brings me to my current predicament.
When Net said he was giving me the body of my game character, I assumed he meant the one with the muscles and bigger build that I had after obtaining the stone, but in truth, I have this wussy body that has hunted me since I started playing the game. It wasn't easy making everyone forget this body as I cleared through the stages of Kingdom Crawlers looking like a true war god with my modified body. When I first began, everyone was looking down on me, and underestimating my strength. In fact, it was so bad that there began to be rumors about a 'girl' being the top player. Even in real life, I've been ridiculed for having the body features of a girl. Girly face, long eyelashes, and thin stature. All that, carelessly copied onto the body of my character. Tch! What an idiot. Even though I'm still rather tall, it's still really no wonder this guy grabbed my hair the way he did.
Well this is a problem.
