My head was spinning, I still can't understand what Mary rebelled against me, my parents had lied to me all their life.
I have a brother, he's probably just like me, what happened to him?
"You know what ...?"
The leader interrupted me. She started looking for something in a drawer, her face no longer showing frustration, she is terrified. Then something bad will happen.
"Before I was a leader, long before you were born." She showed me a photo. "The manager of the village was Max, a man with a lot of wickedness, he wanted the rules to be followed and if they didn't pass, the punishment was death."
In the photo there was a man in a suit, his hair was dark, like his eyes, he had tanned skin and he was serious.
"My parents did not comply." I murmured looking at the photo. "
Exactly, when he found out about your parents' affair, he decided to separate them." She handed me another photo. "After a few months, they found out that your mother was pregnant, Raziel was on his way"
I took the photos between my hands, it is an ultrasound. It has the name of mom, she was three months pregnant.
"Max didn't want to kill his best warriors." Mary handed me a paper. "So, having decided to kill the boy, he was a bastard, he didn't deserve to live."
Who did he think he was to decide on the life of an innocent man? He was already born. My breathing fails, I feel very overwhelmed, I am sure that he is like me, or worse. My parents were punished in the worst ways, just for love? Who would risk his life, that of his loved one and his future children? We are doomed, eternal misery.
"Was he killed?" I raised an eyebrow. "I don't think you'll tell me this for no reason," she affirmed.
"Before that will happen." She paused. "There was a war." Shee stopped. "Something like a coup, the Druids were tired of injustices, no one deserved to have that treatment, to feel like shit." Later, I took over as leader.
"How ironic." I cocked a smile. "You treat me like shit, do I deserve itβ"She frowned. "Am I a bastard?"
She denied wearily.
"We are not talking about you, Atlas," she told me, frustrated. "Don't make it personal, you are not a saint, you have done things that are not worthy of a druid and Raziel was only a baby, he had no evil."
"You think so." I counterattack. "I'm a demon, I've done bad things. If I am that, can you imagine what he would be? It would be more unstable, more lethal and probably a serial killer."
"You're right, girl,"she commented thoughtfully. "That could also have been Max's excuse." She grabbed a paper and began to write. "Anyway, you should go see the medium, she will give you the answers you lack."
"Eloisa Holt"
"Tell him that you're on my side, he won't hesitate to help you." I nod, as I get up from the chair. "And Atlas, be careful. Do not discuss this with anyone, can I trust you?"
I smiled, and started walking towards the exit.
"My mouth is a grave." I turned around. "I just need to know something, what do I gain from all this?"
She snorted.
"You know that the Druids cannot survive alone, if you leave you have earned death, your reward is to stay here, you will be treated as you should and you can have all the freedom you want."
It is a tempting offer, I am not going to deny that it is what I love the most, but the idea that people will continue to treat me as if it were blasphemy is horrible.
"I want that." I crossed my arms. "That and that they treat me as a deity, I belong to all clans, I can break and control whatever it is, I deserve a lot of respect!" Mary looked me up and down.
"It's okay, Atlas."
Raise my head, today I was victorious, from now on I will be treated as I deserve and that makes me feel very lucky.

In my room I am trying to get the necessary things ready to be able to leave tonight, my parents still do not know that I am leaving. I look at the paper in my hand, I still can't believe everything they rebelled against me, I'm stunned.
"Atlas?" My mother enters my room. "What's going on?" I put the paper away. "Why are you coming in without knocking?" It could be naked.
She laughs.
"I've seen you many times without clothes, daughter." She sat on my bed. It's nothing I haven't seen.
I wince.
"It's different, Mom," she denied. "I'm a teenager, my body changed and not everyone has to see it, except you. Privacy." I raise an eyebrow.
"You're right, Atlas," my mom agreed, calmly. "Where are you going?" She looked at my backpack on the bed.
"I have to do something outside, Mom."She made a sign to explain. "Now I'm part of the guard."
She got up and started walking around my room, she looked nervous and worried, I always see her like that when I lose control.
I knew it bothered him, my self-control, I felt hurt by it, why couldn't my own mother trust me? I know I'm a mess, but you need a vote of confidence.
"Why are you worrying?" I looked at her confused.
"You must not go out." I take my arm. "There is danger outside, he is dangerous."
I let go of her, what did she say? She knows things, she is hiding information and I must know why, she looked paranoid and was looking out the window.
"Who is he?" I approached her.
"He's closer than you think," he said again without my understanding. "You shouldn't allow him to get close to you"
I ran to the window and there was only my father, until Luka arrived.
Mom left, leaving me totally confused, I don't understand anything of what is happening and the discomfort is present. I don't understand why they withheld that information from me, I know that my brother is alive and is the one my mother mentioned. He is a psychopath, I feel him in the depths of my being. I can't be the only unstable one in the family, I know that sounds selfish, but I feel like it must be that way.
The Gods could not punish only me, there is something that tells me that I was created by something, it probably has to do with Raziel.
The door to my room was knocked, I know who was outside. I told him to come in and a brown hair was present, Luka's blue eyes scanned me.
"What do you need me for?" We should go." I spoke quickly." I'll explain you on the way.
He nodded and we left the house, my parents looking at me from the door, worried. They knew I'm close to finding out about their dirty secret, I didn't blame them, they must have a why.

On the way to the forest, Luka was holding on, he wanted to ask me what the hell was going on and why the mystery. I didn't blame him, I would be the same and I probably am.
"Atlas, can we talk?" His blue eyes looked at me with concern. "You know ... you look disturbed."
I looked at him for a few seconds, he looked worried, his lips were frowning and his muscles were tense.
"It's okay." I gave up. "Don't ever say something about this, or you'll end up with burned hair." He nodded. "I have a brother, something tells me that bad things will happen and I'm scared."
He looked back in front, his lips curving more. He is analyzing the information and apparently, he did not digest it very well.
"Are you trying to tell me that there is someone stronger and more lethal than you?" He exclaimed in horror. "And not only that, you fear him."
The term "fear" is unnecessary, I only have respect for that little shit, I know that he is more powerful than me and that is why my respect is due.
Still, I keep wondering why my parents hid it from me, I thought we told each other everything, I always thought I was a freak and it turns out that there may be someone like me.
My mother said that danger is very close to me, was she talking about the blood bond that I share with Raziel? I am so confused and tired.
A crack from a branch made me snap out of my thoughts, shit, Luka was on alert just like me.
"What was that?"Asked my companion in alarm.
"I don't know." I tried to look through the trees. "Stay by my side."
"I wasn't going anywhere."
I rolled my eyes, sharpened my senses, I could know what would happen and it was not good. As I had anticipated, a fireball was thrown towards us, I pushed my friend and then I dodged it.
Counterattack using the same thing, I turned and nodded to Luka, he ran off and I followed.
How could I manage to use a shield, somewhat weak but will resist any attack from anywhere. I was totally upset, where was that coming from? Why would it attack us? I looked back again, the only thing I could see was a shadow that became less and less dense.
"Atlas, we have arrived!" Exclaimed my friend. "And alive, I never thought we would survive."
"Calm down!" I laughed.
We followed the small lavender path, everything was adorned with that peculiar flower, it had such a little-known aroma. The road had ended and we were in front of a gigantic metal gate.
The small cabin that I imagined did not compare with the beauty that this place emanated, it looked like a castle, the wood had such a peculiar shine, there was some vine on the walls.
I loved it.
"What do we do?" Luka looked at me a little scared.
"Play..."
I knocked on the door three times with my knuckle.
Nothing.
Hit again ... nothing.
Not the third, not the fourth.
Fuck it! I will go in, I opened the door and the interior of the house was even better, there was lilac furniture, the walls were painted white and there was a large portrait in the main room.
A young man, with blue eyes, porcelain skin and black hair.
The same young man appeared in my field of vision, sporting a peculiar suit.
"Who are you?"He froze.
New visits," I smiled.

The medium had me in her office, analyzing me with her gaze, she was judging me.
Luka was outside, he was alert to any sudden movement made by the old woman, he could kill her in seconds but I need that information.
"Atlas, I can't help you." I confess. "The only thing your family brings are misfortunes."
"Raziel?"
"I can't talk to you about him,"she murmured nervously. "He is very dangerous, like your family."
My dangerous family? My family is as sweet as honey.
"Especially your mother and her relationship with the shadow god"
Who the hell is the shadow god? Why does it sound like a bad thing to me?
