The road seemed silent as students from the nearby university are not around, the road that never missed a car is suddenly quite. Although the sun is out, a good day to take a walk, Thea seemed uneasy, the reason why; she could not point out why and what it could be. The silence of the surroundings flooded Thea's thoughts while going on an errand for a resupply in the cafe. As she walked silently her thoughts stopped, when a loud crash was heard. Few steps away from her is a car accident, the front of the car behind is crushed as well as the trunk of the car in front, no one got hurt but the man in the car behind looked furious when he quickly got out of his car and slammed the door, Thea took few steps closer to feed her curiosity towards the situation when she suddenly stopped. The one who's driving on the other car looked too familiar to her, it was Annie, she looks so fazed but regardless of the situation, Thea's body immediately went numb as cold sweats are building up on her temples. She tightened her grip on the plastic bags, as if on instinct that she looked around her for a place to hide.
When well hidden, Thea can feel her chest heavy as she can feel her heart racing undeniably faster than normal. She looked back to the car accident where she saw Annie looking around totally ignoring the man behind her. *Still so arrogant.* Thea thought and crawled in the dirt to make her way back to the cafe.
On her way back Thea's thoughts are even messier than it was before seeing Annie. *How is she here, is that really Annie?*
*I'm not dreaming, right? I know I hate nightmares but right I need it to be a dream.*
*It was really Annie...*
*I dont know why I am not angry with her, I am more afraid with her.*
*The last thing I want right now is to see her again___*
"Annie?" Thea whispered to herself as she opened the back door of the cafe. She immediately closed it but leaving a small crack to peek. Her brows looked so puzzled as she witnessed Annie talking to Stacy.
*I saw her on the road minutes ago, now she's here? Oh my god! Why does it have to be here?!*
"Oh no Stacy..." Thea whispered with hint of concern towards Stacy who looked so nervous and embarrassed. Although today is a silent day, the cafe still has customers and the customers are seeing the commotion Annie is creating.
Thea gasped when Annie purposely poured the coffee she bought, their voices are inaudible but she can see enough that Annie is mad, and so is Sir Simon. Suddenly Sir Dimitri came he looked mad, although he looked mad like always but it is different today, he looked furious as if like he would punch anyone who messed with him.
*Annie and sir Dimitri are arguing? or more like he's scolding her? Do they know each other? Well maybe, how the hell is this happening?!*
She closed the door and fixed the boxes of milk in the plastic bag before turning to open the door but Simon got the first. *From the looks of it he as well surprisingly looked so stressed, he's always having this light vibe even on bad days, I guess everyone's had it bad today huh.*
"Thea?" Simons eyes soften looking down on her. He wandered his eyes on her and saw her dirty pants right by her knee. "What happened?"
Thea hesitantly smiled and immediately brushed off the dust on her pants. *Oh my god, this must be from all the hiding and crawling I did__*
"Did fell off or something?" Simon added arching his brow looking so puzzled on her behavior.
"No, I_I uh... I didn't sir, I just picked up my phone and___ s... s__some things happened. Im sorry, I have a change of pants in my locker, I'll get cleaned up before going back inside." Thea stuttered. As she ran towards the employees' room bringing the bags of milk with her.
"I can get the milk for you___"
"No sir, I'll do it. I'll be quick!"
Alone in the employees' room, Thea panicked as she changed her pants thinking of the chances the she might bump in to Annie again. *Annie can be anywhere, she hurt me before, but we were children, but I know she hates me, and I don't wanna see her again.*
Thea stopped and observed her hands shaking sweating cold sweats. *I could see her again around here, she even knew sir Dimitri so there's a big chance for her to come back here in the cafe.*
In the cold and silent room Thea can only hear how her breaths are starting to go fast as memories of the days with Annie and her sister came back to her as if like a cold water poured on her.
*Do I need to go away? I might just be overthinking this, but dear God, I don't want to see Annie again... I_I... I feel like I am drowning again.*
"I can't lose this job. It's hard enough to find a job that adjusts to my studies. Dear God..." Thea whispered.
"Why would you lose this job?"
The lights of the room turned on, as it reveals Dimitri walked close to her looking so puzzled. "Did you do something wrong?"
"Sir? I_ uh.... I_wa_...what are you talking about sir?" Thea nervously answered as she fixed her things avoiding her gaze to Dimitri who she can feel was looking at her.
"Answer me, I heard you clearly." Dimitri asked again, as he got few steps close to her crouching down to level her face. "Why would you lose this job?" he whispered.
While waiting for her to answer, he saw how pale her lips got and how the unders of her eyes was so dark. How her grip on the locker tightened and how her jaws are clenched.
"I__I..."
"Hmm?"
"Thea! There you are! Where's the milk?" Stacy peeked in the room as she called out Thea.
Hearing Stacy's voice gave her relief. *What was that? sir Dimitri was so close. Did I do something wrong?*
"Uhh... I got it here!" Thea trembled as she hurriedly walked away from him bringing the bags of milk she got.
"What was that?" Stacy whispered as she took the milk from her.
"I_I dont know, he looked angry." Thea whispered back.
She turned to the room where she was and saw Dimitri standing on the door and intently staring at her, with this she quickly turned away. In the back of her mind she thought of Simon, and had her look for him around. Her eyes stopped as Thea saw Simon with his piercing gazed fixated on Dimitri, that made her glance at him too. She looked down as she saw Dimitri still staring at her. *What the hell is happening?!* she thought as she continued to work.
While the others are busy, Simon walked up to Dimitri with in all seriousness, totally apart from his calm demeanor. He signaled him to walk inside the employees room which Dimitri immediately followed.
"If this is about Annie, I am so sorry about her. I'll talk to her____"
"Theo said you crashed into the museum this early morning, why?"
