Mutiara Hospital
The room is light green colored, it consisted of a set of medical equipment that is attached to Rudy's father's body, the window has a clear view of Jakarta City, and on the bed lies Rudy's father, Aslan.
Lestari look at her father with a sigh, "Here's our father's bill, with the money you got, we can cover it easily but surely it will take a huge chunk of our money" said Lestari as she handed the bill.
Rudy glance at the bill and back to Lestari, "I come here to see you, not him" replied Rudy with a cold tone as he walks out of the room.
Lestari is speechless looking at Rudy's back.
Lestari reaches out her hand and grabbed rudy's and said, "Rudy I know that he's been making our life worse but he's still our father"
Rudy laugh and waved his hand leaving the room while Lestari stands rooted on the spot unable to say anything.
Rudy walks along the hospital's hall intending to go home.
The hall is wide enough for six people to walk together side by side, on Rudy's right is a clear glass window that overviews the entire Jakarta City.
Rudy looks outside the window with an absent mind.
Woooshh!
A convoy of black cars with the NSSB logo on it pass the street swiftly and vanish around the corner of the street, Rudy glance in confusion thinking 'Why do the NSSB seem in a hurry at this time?'
Rudy walks leisurely towards the nearby elevator and pushes the button signing down.
After waiting for a minute, the elevator screen shows the number thirty, with a Ding! sound, the elevator opens revealing three people inside it.
Rudy walks inside the elevator under the people's glance.
The elevator is also made of hard glass with a golden color decorating its handle and corners.
As soon as Rudy enters the elevator he said, "The first floor".
'Confirmed' a robotic sound replied Rudy as the door closes.
Rudy is playing with his watch to kill time and after a while, he looks at the elevator screen only to see number fifteen on it.
Rudy looks outside the elevator when suddenly his head started to hurt, a ringing sound envelops his head forcing Rudy to lean on the wall.
The ringing sound started to get louder, Rudy's face distorted in pain.
Rudy loses all kinds of senses, the only thing he can feel is the pain in his head.
His body started to move on his own, he started to take a few steps back with his head gripped tightly.
'Who are you?!, I will not let you control me!' Rudy screamed inside his head.
The other people glance in Rudy's direction in confusion, 'What's wrong with him? does he have a few screw loose in his head?'.
Suddenly,
CRAAASH!
Rudy jumped out of the elevator breaking the hard glass under everyone's shock gazes.
Rudy fell from the tenth floor, he tries to lessen the fall but he can't reach the hospital glass.
The fall was fast, just when he almost hit the ground.
DING!
The ringing sound vanishes as the elevator door opens revealing the busy first floor of the hospital.
He slowly regains his consciousness while holding his head, not so long after, a chuckle was heard inside his head.
'This cannot go on, I have to know what kind of spirit I assimilated with' Rudy thinks inside his head with full determination.
After visiting his 'Father', Rudy heaved a long sigh and start to walk back home.
While walking, Rudy started to think inside his head, 'Wait if I'm a seeker now, Where does my mark lie? Should I report and get my seeker license and join a guild? or should I just stay anonymous?'
A flurry of questions appear inside Rudy's head, he tries to feel the spirit but to no avail.
After ten minutes of walking, Rudy arrives at his apartment and jumped to his bed that feels heavenly after a long day, and swiftly go to dreamland.
Beep!Beep!Beep!
A beeping sound came from Rudy's watch that shows six a.m.
Rudy lazily turns it off and goes to the bathroom to prepare himself to go to school.
His bathroom wasn't much, it only consists of a sink with a mirror above it, a toilet, and a simple shower.
After fifteen minutes of getting ready, Rudy grabbed his bag and goes out of his room.
'Sister didn't come back from the hospital' Rudy thought as he walks out of his little apartment not forgetting to lock it and go to the nearby bus station.
The forty-eight national highschool is near Rudy's apartment so after ten minutes he arrives in front of his school.
The forty-eight national high school is one of the best high schools in Jakarta City or may in fact be the best.
The first floor of the school is square-shaped but the second floor is longer than the first floor making a z-shape making it look dazzling afar. In front of the school lies a big field used for sports and the parking lot, beside the school stands another round building that used for the school event known as Sky Auditorium.
Rudy walks inside the school only to be greeted by a crowd of students wearing a white shirt with a red maroon vest that has a white forty-eight logo on its chest gathering in front of a billboard.
"RUDY!! OVER HERE!!" a short-haired man called out to Rudy while waving his hand.
Rudy glance in the short-haired man direction and started to walk toward him.
The short-haired man standing 5'10'' feet tall, he has a long face with a square jaw, his eyes are slanted, his fair skin turns even the girls to shame, but the most noticeable traits was his hazel eyes that give him a respectable aura.
Beside the short-haired man is a beautiful girl that has fair skin, her eyes glow bright blue, long silver hair waves with the wind making her look noble, her body has the right curves in the right places but her face is chubby contrasting with her elegant appearance.
"Erick, Lucia, What's going on?" asked Rudy.
"There's a notice on the billboard that told us to gather in Sky Auditorium today" replied Lucia.
Rudy is confused, he asks "What's so hype about that?"
Erick smiles mischievously and replied, "There's the NSSB logo on the notice"
Hearing this, Rudy was shocked.
'Is there any connection with the NSSB convoy last night?' he thinks inside his head.
"Well, no point in thinking, it's already 7, let's go to the Sky Auditorium," said Erick while walking towards the Sky Auditorium.
Lucia and Rudy nods and follows after.
The Sky Auditorium is located beside the school building, so after five minutes of walking, the trio arrived at the auditorium.
'Sky Auditorium' is marked on top of the building that looks majestic and pleasing to the eye, a row of NSSB agents already standby in front of the building checking the student identity before letting them in.
The Sky Auditorium has many rooms that are made for a certain purpose, the students enter room number three.
Room number three looks like a theatre that has a stage in front of the seats.
The trio soon follows inside room number three and take a seat at the right-back, while chatting to each other.
After ten minutes or so, a man wearing a black and white suit and tie walks to the stage.
The room fell into silence as the students wait for the man to talk, after adjusting his tie the man announce that left every student in shock.
"From today onwards, the NSSB has made a new legal law. NSSB Law number 89 regarding the importance of highschoolers to conduct Suanggi Ritual as they enter third grade"
The man takes a deep breath and continues, "Based on the new law, Every student at the age of seventeen will be forced to conduct Suanggi Ritual, if not, the penalty is death!"
