A munching sound was heard as Xaraks eat Lightning Ghost.
Purple blood spilled everywhere, Rudy can only stand there waiting for Xaraks to finish its meal.
Spirit is just a different species of living things, just like humans they can bleed, they have feelings, the only difference between a spirit and a human is their living dimension.
Humans live in reality, while spirit lives in a dimension called Evox.
Evox is a dimension that is the same as where the humans live but different, it is a story for another time.
After a moment of waiting, just after Xaraks finishes his meal, Rudy feels his body burning.
BZZT!
Lightning started to envelop his insides making a blitzing sound, Rudy fell on his knees as the burn started to hurt him. His eyes turn white because of the lightning, his veins contain lightning one can even see it from the outside.
In the midst of this anomaly, Rudy tries to look up to Xaraks with great difficulty.
"What's happening?" Rudy said sounding desperate.
Xaraks look towards Rudy who is kneeling and said, "You are in the absorption process, Three skills will appear inside your head. You have to discard two skills because you are not strong enough"
Just after Xaraks said that a wave of information about the three skills enters Rudy's brain.
> Lightning Claw
> Lightning Strike
> Eye of Shock
After scanning through the spells, Rudy decided to forget Lightning Claw and Lightning Strike.
Eye of Shock stuns the opponent for one second but can be reduced if the opponents are stronger, it makes Rudy's eye flash a flash of lightning that will shocks his opponents making it a useful spell in making a decisive blow.
The blitz of lightning started to fade, Rudy slowly stands up as the burn started to fade.
He scans through his body, He feels stronger than before, in fact, he feels far stronger than before!
After getting up, Another spell appears inside his head but this time it didn't hurt like the Eye of Shock.

Rudy looks at Xaraks with a questioning gaze.
Xaraks replied, "This is how we will get stronger, by devouring Spirits," Xaraks stops and looks at Rudy with a more intense gaze and continues with a slower and heavier voice, "and Humans"
'Seems about right' Rudy thought as he remembers the trial when he makes a contract with Xaraks.
After talking to Xaraks, Rudy exited his consciousness and slowly opening his eyes.
Half of the students already finish their meditation, but the strange part is that everyone was looking at him with an envious and complicated expression.
Rudy glance to the front to only see Genta staring at him,
'Why is he staring at me? Did he find out about Xaraks? No way right?' as Rudy racking his brain thinking, he was surprised to found that burnt marks surround him and the students around him are gone.
Genta grins and walks slowly towards Rudy and stops in front of Rudy under the student's gazes,
"Rudy, Congratulations on becoming a Bintara rank Seeker," said Genta with a delightfully.
Rudy stares into space with his wide eyes, 'Wait how did I become a Bintara rank Seeker?!' he thought.
Genta smiles looking at Rudy's reaction and explains, "There are cases like this where a new Seeker directly enters Bintara rank, It depends on talent and compatibility with the Spirit. It happens only one out of thousands, now you will be..."
BOOM!
Just as Genta was explaining, a booming sound comes from another student on his right that is emitting a fierce lightning aura.
Genta gasp in shock before he can even contain his excitement another booming sound came,
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Another five students emit a fierce lightning aura, one of them emits a purple lightning aura that is fiercer than the other.
Genta's breaths become faster, He is grinning like a madman, He was in shock! His shock almost makes him pass.
'What is this?! Is this school a prodigy school?!' Genta screams inside his head.
While Genta is gasping, Rudy is talking to Xaraks.
Rudy frown and asks, 'Hey, Xaraks, Why do they have a lightning aura around them? I remember when I make a contract with you, nothing happened. Are you perhaps weak?'
'HAH! Their Spirit is just showing off, when a spirit makes a contract with a human they intentionally burst out their power to show off. I Xaraks the Spirit Eater found it laughable that this low spirit shows off, if I do the same thing then probably this mountain will collapse' answered Xaraks pridefully.
'Well he is strong judging when I first meet it, I doubt that he is weak but what if Xaraks really is just a weakling?' Rudy thought inwardly.
'I can hear you, you know' Replied Xaraks angrily and sends black lightning towards Rudy.
"AKHH!! ALRIGHT ALRIGHT"
Thankfully the incident is not seen by Genta who is busy looking at other students.
After conditioning his breath, Rudy tries to find Lucia but he can't find even a glimpse of her.
Rudy thought, 'I have a bad feeling about this, judging from Lucia's personality...'
"Sir Genta, Are there any places that are forbidden near Sorrow Lightning Peaks?" Asked Rudy towards Genta.
Genta still in shock looking at the purple lightning aura and answers randomly, "This place is near Lava Mount where the fire elements student go and there is a forbidden place near here just under the mountain called Unlighted Cave although no one kn..."
Before Genta finishes his words, Rudy already dashes towards the location of the mountain.
'This girl better not be stupid' Rudy thought.
The rain is heavy, dark clouds surround the area making it dark even though it is still 1 pm.
Lightning roars occasionally from the clouds as Rudy runs with all his might towards the mountain with a furrowed brows fearing what he thinks might come true.
The ground is muddy, the splashing sound was heard every time Rudy stomp his feet on the ground.
CRACK!
Lightning strikes the ground just beside Rudy, startling him and making him fell to the ground.
Rudy gets up and started to run again as if nothing happens.
After twenty minutes of running, Rudy feels an eerie and evil aura around him.
The cold temperature drop once again, Rudy stops and looks at his surrounding and found a cave on his left with dead trees surrounding it.
Without a second of doubt, Rudy rushes towards the cave.
Rudy feels his body is light, normal people need at least two hours of running to get to this cave but Rudy achieves it in twenty minutes.
The cave is dark, Rudy can only see two meters in front of him.
"LUCIA!!"
Rudy tries to call Lucia to no avail, Rudy decided to stick to the wall and walks inside the cave slowly.
Rudy's heartbeat started to beat faster, his gut is telling him to not do this but how can he just left Lucia here.
The cave seems to be darker,
Now Rudy can't even see a meter in front of him.
After following the wall for two minutes or so, Rudy bump into something in front of him.
With the darkness of the cave, he can't see what is in front of him.
CRACK!
Lightning comes down striking the mouth of the cave, in this split moment the cave brightened by the flash of lightning.
When Rudy saw what is in front of him, he opens his eyes wide in shock.
It was Lucia! but her body is emitting an evil aura that even Rudy shudder.
Lucia looks towards Rudy with her empty eyes then suddenly she shrieks loudly, "AAAHHH!!!"
