She continued with her history work; she was quite tired of this.

They were pretty much doing more review work.

Apparently, there were tests in a few weeks, and they were trying to prepare the children. That damn hawk, Ms. Harris, was literally patrolling the room.

Kaya sighed before her phone vibrated again. She sighed slightly.

Goddammit, Zach, she took another moment to glance up at her teacher, who was making her way to the front of the class. She sighed slightly but continued with her 'Cornell notes.'

She hated Cornell notes, and she hated history. She wrote her Cornell notes gloomily before Ms. Harris' yell caught her attention.

The teacher was yelling at a girl at the front of the class who was on her phone and flipped another kid in the hallway off.

The girl then pushed past the teacher with a sigh, and Kaya quickly recognized her as Valencia Prince, that girl on the Bully's arm earlier.

Valencia looked around for a seat before Valencia smirked towards her and started approaching her.

Kaya tensed slightly. What was she doing? Valencia then plopped her ass down right next to Kaya and offered her hand.

"Hello, you're the new girl, right?" I'm Valencia, Valencia Prince. You can call me Void." Valencia smiled charmingly at her, and Kaya warily took her hand.

"Uh...I'm Kaya Aria. I guess you can call me Kaya." Valencia seemed to brighten visibly. "I like your name! And your hair is so pretty!" Kaya looked at some of the contrasting hair over her shoulder. "Thanks..." She blushed slightly, and Valencia smiled again. "So...why's your nickname Void?" Kaya asked, deciding to make a conversion.

"Well, my Grandpa used to look into my eyes and called them little voids." Valencia chuckled, pointing to her dark purple eyes that were bordering black.

"You two stop talking in the back!" Valencia scoffed and muttered a curse as that old bag yelled at them.
