Kevin saw it and was about to leave. He didn't want to stay here with all the cameras around. There was no way he could just beat the guy in a one on one.
"Who is the lucky one? Who is Kevin's one true love." Bryan said again as if the crowd had not heard the point.
The bouquet had flown over the heads of everyone and into a garbage bin.
Bryan was repetitively calling Kevin's true love is a garbage can to rile him or his lackeys up.
One of Kevin's lackeys said to his another lackey,"Let's teach him a lesson."
The other guy was the same one who had pissed his pants when Bryan hadn't even punched him. He didn't say anything but moved his head to say no. The lackeys weren't hard core gangsters. Most of the guys who followed him used to be his frat members who dropped out or passed out and now 'worked' for Kevin.
As a front, they worked as managers at the nightclub but the reality was different. They mainly worked as low level members of the drug racket. That's what they did most of the time besides enjoying their life. They wouldn't give their life for Kevin, when one of the lackeys said no, that meant it would be trouble to act.
These lackeys held back.
"Can someone bring the lucky one here?" Bryan said.
Kevin snapped.
Kevin had turned to leave. He was almost going back when he smiled at Bryan.
Kevin said, "Aren't you acting tough? I am Kevin Juana."
"Bryan Best."
"You must not be from around here. Not knowing anything about the Juana name. You must think you are the bad guy?" Kevin said and smiled. He was feeling proud that Bryan was soon about to get a wake up call.
"Bad? Bad was your mom's blowjob last night. I am the good guy here." Bryan said. He had a system and a robot who was basically a superhuman just like him. He could also buy weapons and keep them in his system space. There was no way he was going to be insulted by a little punk like Kevin.
Eddie hit his hand on the forehead. Even, Andrea was shocked at the vulgar words Bryan had just said and even a little worried. She had heard of Juana hotels but that was all.
[What is this Juana name? He is rich, isn't that it?] She thought.
The crowd was as silent as it could be. The music had stopped long ago. The cameraman had turned on the recording but wasn't moving as things had gotten serious and he didn't want to disturb the flow with the click sounds.
"Hahahaha. Did you just insult my mother?" Kevin said as he laughed while his face turned red. He looked a little creepy at this point.
"Insult? Excuse me, don't act like fake news. I meant it as a compliment. She is still a champ at giving blowjobs. I just meant her skills aren't as good as they used to be. Still a champ though, the Juana name is for nothing, I guess.." Bryan said as he insulted everything Kevin stood for.
"Good, good, I will remember it." Kevin said as he walked to his R8.
The lackeys loaded up the SUV and left.
"The show is over. Thanks for the well wishes." Bryan said to the crowd as he acted like a professional artist thanking the crowd for all the cooperation during his play. He even lifted his hand along Andrea's into the air further embarrassing her along with himself.
The crowd dispersed as quickly as it had formed.
"Won't he try to retaliate?" Andrea said, a little worried.
"With me around, he can't do anything. He is just a poser." Bryan said.
Eddie looked at Bryan but didn't directly go to meet him. He had found another target.
"Give me a minute. You go to them." He said to Kelly as he walked to the cameraman who had been left behind by Kevin's crew.
.
The cameraman was packing his equipment when Eddie walked to him.
"Give me the footage." Eddie said.
"You? Who are you? I was hired by Kevin Juana."
"Are you deaf? Didn't he say I am his family friend. We go way back. Who are you ask me about it. Just do as I say." Eddie acted his part as Kevin's long time friend.
"My fees?"
"So, you are deaf and you have amnesia as well? Didn't you just say Kevin hired you. Give me a copy of the unedited footage. Kevin will pay you on time."
The camera man didn't know what to say but his face turned a little sad thinking about the loss of fees. He had in reality taken a large chunk as an advance but who didn't want to be paid in full.
"Listen, I have contacts all over college. I will pass along your name in my circles. Plenty of people will hire you. Don't worry." Eddie consoled the guy looking at this face.
The guy cheered up when he heard about the marketing Eddie was promising.
"I will make a copy and pass it you. Here is my card. Just drop by my studio and pick it up, later today or tomorrow. I won't delete it." He said as he smiled.
Eddie smiled back and took the card and shook his hand.
Cough!
