"I am leaving." Betty said as she stood up.
Both Andrea and Bryan stopped making out as they turned to look at Betty. It was at this Andrea realised where she was, sitting face to face on Bryan's lap in front of Betty.
Bryan went one step further and caught Betty's arm to pull her back to where she was sitting. Bryan brought her closer and said, "Don't worry, we will help you in finding someone."
"Who wants someone? I am totally fine the way I am." Betty protested and added,"I don't want to be like her, so lovestruck." Betty pointed to Andrea.
Andrea turned her face the other way trying to escape Betty's eyes as she put her head in Bryan's chest.
"We just got carried away. Don't worry. Why don't we continue the movie. There's still a few hours before I have to leave." Bryan said.
Betty could only agree as she didn't want to be alone in her dorm room when all her friends were having fun.
The movie started and the trio was back to the same positions with Bryan in the centre. Bryan and Andrea didn't watch the movie for long. After liking the deep kisses, they don't know when but they were again kissing as Betty sat next to them.
Bryan and Andrea did try to be discreet this time with little to no sound.
Pinch!
Bryan knew that their stealth had failed as Betty pinched him. He had to abandon the kisses and went back to just holding hands as they completed the movie.
~knock~
"It's me." Eddie said from the outside.
Bryan opened the door to see Eddie and Kelly come in, blushing a little as they walked in.
"Great performance." Betty said and Andrea hit her to stop embarrassing Kelly even more.
Kelly rushed in and found a place to hide herself next to Andrea. The room was pretty dark in itself as the only light was coming in from the hallway or the screen.
Eddie walked in slowly as stopped next to Bryan as he said, "Thanks."
Bryan nodded and closed the door behind him.
"Are you guys still watching it? It's already 3am." Eddie said.
"What do you suggest?" Betty asked.
"Let's leave now. We grab something to eat along the way." Eddie said.
Everyone looked at Bryan for the answer. He was the one who was going to leave.
"Alright. Let me pack up then."
The squad hopped into Eddie's car and they drove around till it was time to drop Bryan off at the airport.
It was time to leave.
"I will be back by Monday. It's a small thing." Bryan said.
"You have to come back. Don't even think about running away?" Betty said as everyone else nodded.
"Don't worry, I won't run away with your money." Bryan replied.
"I was thinking of running away with Andrea's heart but that too, I guess." Betty teased.
[Why is she like that?] Bryan thought and smiled as he looked at Andrea. He leaned forward and hugged her.
Bryan placed his mouth next to her ear and whispered, "I will miss the things we did tonight." and then kissed her cheek.
Andrea tightened the hug to not show her embarrassed face to anyone.
"We are not the only ones it seems." Eddie said and immediately felt an elbow from both Betty and Kelly.
"Why are you hitting me? He is the one doing everything." The same thing played once again, it was after a few seconds that Bryan and Andrea separated.
"I will miss you guys. See you in a couple of days." Bryan said as he walked into the airport.
The rest of the squad left as Bryan vanished in the crowd.
Bryan had entered at the best possible time as he heard the boarding call. It wasn't long before he was in the air. The flight was a short one, only about 100 minutes long.
He could see the strip as the flight landed at LAS Airport. The slot machines at the airport were the reminder that he had arrived.
Bryan walked out of the airport. The cab fares were way cheaper that way as he called for an uber.
His house was way out in the suburbs of Vegas. It took another 40 minutes in the cab.
Bryan exited the cab with his one backpack. It was around 8 am on Saturday. The roads were mostly empty except near the parks.
[It's the same.] Bryan thought as nostalgia hit him. He had come from the future when his mother still lived in the same place but he did not get the chance and neither did his little sister. The family had not separated but it had in many ways. Bryan only went back on christmas and so did his little sister, Bella.
His home was the one his grandmother had passed down to his mother. It had three bedrooms which had served the family well. The plot was even larger with a white fence. The white was more of a gray at this point.
The plot was in contrast to neighbouring houses which had the same area but smaller courtyards because they had expanded their houses. Bryan's family could not afford such luxuries when his mother, Amy was the only earner. Bryan's father had passed away when Amy, his mother was pregnant with Bella.
More than a decade had passed but Amy had worked as a teacher and taken extra jobs during holidays to have the best possible future for her kids. She had taught Bryan to be careful with money and not waste on things he didn't need.
[What will I say? Mom, I am betting big on bitcoin. Can I have a little loan of 100k]
[Now that I think about it, the money does not seem easy.] Bryan thought as he pressed the doorbell with mixed emotions.
