I drove up to Colin's house and honked the truck horn twice. Josh's humming was never filtered by the loud noise. If anything, he hummed a little louder. Josh rested his head on the backseat with a smile as wide as Joker's. A drastic change from the doom and gloom he was in last week.
I was about to question him when Colin strolled out of his house, whistling a happy tune. Colin's backpack was carelessly slung over his shoulder, and happiness oozed from his every step.
'Well, somebody forgot to invite us to an amazing weekend,' Wolfie chuckled.
Great! If humming wasn't enough, now there was whistling.
Colin got in his seat, threw his backpack beside Josh in the backseat, and flashed us a dazzling smile.

"Good morning, family." He attached the seatbelt. "It's going to be a lovely day."
