Shadow angled the book to make herself comfortable. Her fingers were busily flickering at the previous pages while Elizebeth and Fariz were glued to her side like a pack of chewing gum.
For the free time this time, they wanted to spend it by reviewing the content of the book. It was mainly to ensure their victory and to revisit the past as well.
"You have only two days to prepare." Shadow nagged Elizebeth unprovoked.
"I have decided to take a break before I emerge from the book."
Shadow didn't blink at that sentence and nodded. "It's better that way. Find your peace within, and shall return when the energy bar has filled."
"I shall do as you say, Your Excellency." Elizebeth bowed her head humbly to Shadow.
"If by any chance you're experiencing discomfort after emerging from the book, you may ask Fariz to prepare a healing story for you and get you well rest there. I permit you to do such." Shadow flickered into another page.
