A raised brow took in a sheepish-looking T. J. The huge body moved aside and let them in, he briefly glanced up and down the hall before closing the door. Walking through the small apartment Nathaniel put the grocery bags on the kitchen counter before striding to her room.
Nathaniel knocked on the door of her bedroom and waited. He could feel the eyes of her roommate on him. She opened the door.
Her face wasn't swollen, he sighed. Her lip was though. She smiled weakly at him.
She winced just a tad as she raised her arms to hug him. He touched her lip. With an arm around her, he carried her to her bed.
Pulling the covers back he laid her on her bed. That's when it registered she was in his t-shirt. It was a big one that he had lent to her when she'd gotten rained on. His body responded eagerly to the image of her wet t-shirt sticking to her body.
He mentally cast aside that image and went back to tucking her in. She had her bottom lip between her teeth. She didn't make a noise.
