"We're not done yet" Elestia tried to push Kiel away before he saw that big scar on her back but it's too late.
"What?..." Elestia buried her face into the pillow and refuse to say anything.
"Well....we'll talk about that later. We have something important to do now" Then he continued until Elestia close to passing out.
"Sleep well honey" Kiel whispered and Elestia finally fall asleep.
"So many scars....Even if someone get cut or injured, the priest can heal it without leaving a scar. Just what kind of past did you go through?" Kiel said to himself while caressing the scars on Elestia back.
After a while, Elestia woke up inside Kiel warm embrace. It kind of embarrassing but she smile and snuggles more into his chest and realized that they're still naked.
"Oh? done scanning down to my little brother?" Elestia looked up and met his sexy gaze.
"nothing to see" Elestia blurted out something that she shouldn't said to him.
"Oh hoo?" In a second Kiel already on top of her and showering her with a kisses all over her face.
"Get off! We had a morning assembly" Elestia pushed him down and get ready for the day.
"Tch. Boring" Kiel said and get ready himself.
"Thanks" Elestia feel a little annoyed and go first.
"I'm m so hungry" Elestia said while rubbing her stomach and decided to go to the association cafeteria.
"Look. She's here again" Elestia looked at the person who becomes the topic of the rumors. A slim woman with an average height was trembling while eating her breakfast.
'Eh? Isn't that Rania? A commoner with a high magic aptitude? This is strange. She should be coming next year! Why is she here?' Elestia nearly dropped her food tray and without wasting any time, she decided to confront Rania.
"Hi. may I sit here?" Elestia asked as Rania becomes more timid than ever.
"O-of c-course....hik!" Elestia was startled as her eyes turn into circle.
"Are you scared of me?" Elestia asked her again while gobbling her butter bun.
"Yes...eh I M-mean n-no....hik!" There she goes again. In Elestia eyes, Rania look likes a hamster. Trembling in fear.
'She's cute' Elestia finished her food and decide to go to the Office but stopped by someone tugging onto her sleeve.
"M-may I g-go w-with y-you?" Rania was so pale but she still manage to call out for her and that's enough to impress her.
"Sure" Elestia patted her head as Rania blushed. This is the first time people was good to her. Even back at the orphanage, everyone treat her as an eyeshore but Elestia did not. Elestia give out a vibes of someone unapproachable but when then standing right beside her makes Rania feel at ease. Rania received a warm feeling from her and her auras smell like a flowers. To be exact, it's like a mother embrace. Comforting and makes you feel peaceful and safe without a doubt.
"Hello sir" Elestia asked the officer that responsible for the duty of each wizards. Even though it's the first day for Elestia to work, she looked like she's familiar with how things work out in the association. To have recognition from the wizard association higher up, someone had to reach a certain quota of achievement and how did she know? Well that's how it works in her first life. She needed this recognition because it will give her more advantage to be one of the Army commander.
"Hello Lady Elestia. Your first task for today is helping out the orphanage nursery. Report your duties before the sun goes down" Elestia nodded and walked away but something bothering her.
"Why don't you tell me now, Why are you following me Miss Rania?" Rania who becomes drunk into Elestia warm aura just realize that she been following her to the orphanage nursery.
"Ehh...I am sorry...I didn't mean it" Rania mind becomes blank and she don't know what to do.
"It's fine just follow me" Elestia greeted the Orphanage Nursery caretakers and received a little details of what they will be doing for the day. Other than cleaning around the nursery, they need to play with the kids.
"Rania? Can i call you that?" Elestia asked straightforward as Rania blushed in embarrassment. No one ever called her by her name. They called her a walking ghost or bastard child but what's hurt the most is they called her Monster for having a high Magic aptitude while she's not a royal descendant.
"Yes!" Rania face glow up in happiness and Elestia patted her head again.
"Ah-sorry. I couldn't help myself from patting your head" Elestia said with a straight face and walked away to do her job. She looked unapproachable but soon after the kids started to surround her. When Elestia started to read them a book story for their afternoon nap, Her voice is so calming and it sounds so sincere that even Rania fal asleep while listening to her.
"She sounds like a saint....." Rania said to herself and then completely fall asleep along the kids.
"Oh my, You're so skilled in handling a baby. Do you perhaps has a natural talent for child care?" Miss Monica asked Elestia after she skillfully placed the baby inside their crib.
"Maybe...." Elestia stared at the babies and remided of her past life. She do everything to be a good mother after knowing that she is pregnant.
'I feel indebted to my past life' Elestia said in her heart and a smile appeared on her lips. Miss Monica who has the chance to see it feel attracted and somehow it makes her smile too.
