That story was kept in every girl's mind. They believe in sea monsters, and they believe in the curse. However, being naturally strong-willed, even if Jassy believes in that story, there's always a part of her that longs for change. She wanted a longer life as a child, or as someone not married and to leave elsewhere.
She wants to see another view of the world. But she doesn't know how to do it. Every day she looks over the horizon and imagines where it ends. She longs to see the mysteries after that line.
