As Sayesha drove away from the venue, her mind was conflicted and thoughts were all over the place. Being a workaholic was one of her traits but it was also a way to dissociate herself from a thing she couldn't run away from.
Flashback:
"So umm, what about the costume trials?," Namjoon asked.
"They have been postponed for tomorrow. For now, you should head back and rest. The cars are waiting outside. I'll send the bodyguards in a minute."
"Won't you come?"
"I've some work. I'll see you guys tomorrow maybe?"
"Hmm alright, and hey?," he said.
Sayesha hummed looking in her phone.
New message from Maa:
"Hey Shyshy, I'm in the city. I know you've been avoiding this for a long time but baby, it's important. Your dad and I can't stay together anymore. I know you're very busy but I need to talk to you. Please meet me at Thanks Nature cafe in 30 minutes. Ily."
Sayesha's ethnicity was Indo-Korean. Her mother was an Indian. She came to South Korea for studies and ended up falling in love with Wang Jungwon. They got married despite of their contrasting cultures and had a baby girl after a year.
Sayesha was fluent in both hindi and korean, had mixed facial features too. She was also well versed about both the cultures and was being brought up really well. It all went beautifully till Sayesha was 12. Gradually, Trisha and Jungwon's relationship started going downhill. Ego replaced respect and love was obliterated soon after. Needless to say that, they were together only for the sake of their daughter whom they loved more than anything.
As a child, Sayesha used to wake up to shrill voices and sound of breaking things. She used to spend most of her time in school and libraries because she couldn't bear the environment back at home.
Arguments, tears, food left half eaten on the table, separate beds and a defeaning silence that never left. The innocent girl couldn't understand the reason behind all this. She never had anyone to confide in and cried herself to sleep every second night.
According to Sigmund Freud, a prominent psychologist, our early childhood experiences, repressed wishes and thoughts play a crucial role in shaping our personality.
Sayesha was the sum of all that her childhood was. But there was so much more to her too. How she matured so early, how she chose to not let herself break.
When Sayesha entered her teenage, she came across BTS. They became her excuse to begin living again. In those 7 boys, she discovered a love she didn't have to question. They were her light when she thought hers was gone forever and showed her that love doens't have to be painful. They soon became her ambition too and here she was now, successfully working as their manager.
And at this point of her life, she was certain about one thing that, sometimes even two amazing people fail at being compatible. She knew this day would come so, she was trying her best to stay composed.
Finally, she reached the cafe, parked her car and went inside.
Thanks Nature cafe:
As she entered, she saw her mother sitting at a corner table. Trisha was a beautiful, 45 year old woman. As soon as she saw Sayesha, she stood up smiling. Sayesha took a deep breath and walked towards her. Trisha hugged her daughter tightly.
"How is my Shyshy? I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too, Maa."
