We stay a little bit more in the silence of this peaceful scenery with different thoughts going through our minds.
"And I'm sorry Kinsley." Jenny speaks up and I face her, wondering what she's sorry over. "I promise from now on, I'll be there with you. No one not even Benji will take me from you because I feel like anytime I'm not with you that's when Jake shows up."
I smile at her, "You don't have to."
"I have to. We're best friends, we help each other out. From now on, Jake won't come close. I promise." She says determinedly which causes me to laugh. "Pinky swears." She raises her pinky with a bright smile on and I could feel tears sting in my eyes so I kept my head down.
It's really nice to know that there's someone with you and always with you to help in times you feel miserable.
