She groans the more, "Why wouldn't she be? Didn't you see the look on her face when she told us she liked Adrian?"
"But I like Adrian too."
"What if she likes Adrian more than you do?"
"I don't think you can measure how much someone likes a person."
"I think you can."
I sigh, brushing my hair back; the feeling of misery rushing back in. Great. Now I have three negative emotions—Insecurity, Inferiority and Misery. "What I did, was it bad?"
"Lying? Yes. Being deceitful? Yes. Bringing misunderstandings and thereby making someone sad? Yes."
