Chapter 15.
"Are you ready to have fun?" Mason says as he shrugs In Isa's car.
It was 7pm and I had to pick up Mason at his house, Isa left her car at my house today and I decided to use it on the fact my car doesn't really have insurance.
He on the other hand said he doesn't have a car which I found weird, we actually texted a lot at noon just to keep in touch for this night.
Mrs Kourtney really gave me a big task.
"Sure" i replied softly.
I turned the wheels and took off on the road.
Still listening to the music playing, Mason was singing along with it. It was a rock music.
It wasn't my choice.
Obviously Mason's.
"Why do you like music like this anyway?" I asked out of the blue.
"Its not cool headed" he replied and immediately went back singing along with it.
I decided not to give my suggestion about the music, deep down I hate the sound of it but i can't blame him for loving it, i believe everybody have their perspective on a subject.

Arriving at the University and just by the stare at the buildings, i could see it got Mason confused.
"Hmm"
"What?" I asked him, now am confused.
"You don't seem like a fun girl" he said flicking his nose.
I rolled my eyes at the same time I found a parking space in the lot.
I parked the car offed it and rested my back in the light soft mattress Isa used in covering her Seats.
I don't know but i feel nervous all of a sudden, noticing a gaze on me, I turned my head just to see who was staring and Mason face was all over with confusion.
"Are we supposed to stay here?" He asked.
"No, no no" I said as he snapped at me.
I walked out of the car as soon as I could, so did he.
We passed through the halls and views of people i randomly see at school, where all over.
I noticed Mason by my side and I didn't know what to say to him.
It wasn't really my fault I choosed my school to hang out, you see your mom didn't give me a choice...she did but I couldn't say no to her.
Oh please!
Glancing at Mason he wasn't even though bothered I wasn't really giving him attention, he just looked surprised as to why his here.
I shrugged it off, one thing i wouldn't do was to disappoint Mrs Kourtney...I mean Kourtney.
I seem to forget.
Still walking down the halls, I wanted to check on Isa before heading straight to where I could find Alex but
What if Isa was also invited to the party.
Anyway Mason and I reached the top floor thats when he decided to break the silence we had.
"So its a party huh?" He said.
I checked out the place, it was like a club but there wasn't to much strippers just some students who might be upset with s*x.
I raised my gaze to Mason as i nodded 'yes'. He noticed it and held my wrist immediately.
I looked down to his palms on my wrist as he said "This isn't just a party."
I uncomfortably slide my hands out and said "Its fine, just some random party."
He stared at me trying to read my expression for a while.
I don't know why he held my wrist but he shouldn't be scared of things like this.
Did i say scared?
No! He wouldn't be scared of parties?
Would he?
"Angela!" I snapped to my name, trying to check where the voice might had come from. That voice was way too familiar but due to the music I couldn't really tell who it was.
Still standing at the doorway I turned my head backwards just to see a girl hearing to my direction and noticed it was Mia.
She walks straight to Mason and Me, she was totally blonde this time. She might have added some color to her hair but I didn't seem to care.
"Angela, you made it" she exclaimed.
At this stage I didn't know what she had in store but i still gave her a smile. As if is recently she notices Mason presence, she said.
"Oh Angela, you already moved on"
"Excuse me?" I said, what did she mean I already moved on.
"Charlotte would be thrilled hearing this!" She excitedly grabbed both me and Mason hands, mine in her right while Mason in her left as she leads on in. "Come on in" she says.
She leads us in but I shrugged myself hesitantly, i didn't like the way she held me maybe i could say the same for Mason, his face impression now is narrowed with discuss for Mia.
If only face expression could kill.
Mia would be long gone.
I took a glance at the place it was familiar, it was actually the place Isa and me came to, the particular day Isa arrived In hostel.
The light where still as red as before and the place looked good as a club.
"Hey guys, look who I found.." She said.
Mia leads us to a different room that its also the same as before, the red room that was seriously awkward the last time I was here.
"Angela!, who would have thought" Charlotte said and i immediately rolled my eyes, checking out the room, all of her friends and Alex's friends where all here but i couldn't see Alex. "The nerd is giving attitude" she clarifies as she notices my eyed being narrowed.
"Alex isn't here, pussy" she said laughing as Mia joins her.
I glared at both of them, they normally find pleasure in picking on me, isn't it.
Then I fully concentrated on her and back to Mason who was listening to all this.
"Hey, she isn't a nerd" Mason said and almost made me choke..he just said I was, outside. I mean he didn't say it clearly but 'you don't seem like a fun girl' its indirectly letting me know.
"Angela got company!" Hunter said, getting up just to get close enough to me. I raised my brows as he was getting close but Mason created a stop for him, as he puts his palms on his chest and said.
"Back off" Mason just said.
I took a glance at him then slide It to the couch that had everybody was on.
I could see how Liam flirts with some other girl not giving a care in the world about what was going on here.
James was more interested in the situation over here and stretched himself up a little just to get a better view. He wasn't flirting with any girl but the drinks in his front clearly shows he was just drinking. He sure has a luck he wasn't cheating on his future girlfriend. Probably Isa.
Luke is a weird guy, he has a girl Sitted on his laps as he still listens in on our conversation.
Mia has keen to hear more of this conversation as I glared at her.
I raised my gaze to Hunter that was few inches away from me as I said "Can you excuse me" i turned my head to Mason and nodded to him.
He understood and said "I will be around."
"Angela why don't you just go with your lover!" Charlotte yells.
I narrowed my eyes as I left their view.
Walking straight up to where i have no idea about, I just needed to get away from all the drama. I came here mostly to have just a conversation with Alex but it didn't seem to be going well, clearly he wasn't here. I tried looking for the restroom as I asked around.
I obviously was asking only drunks.
"Excuse me" i stopped a brown skin girl as she turned, I asked "Do you have any idea where i could possibly find the restroom." I said, clearly seeing she wasn't whipped.
"Yeah sure, just take a u turn at the end of the corridor" she said and I thanked her as she walked away.
I walked on the corridor as instructed, coming to wonder, why would a restroom be this far when the house was apparently far away from it.
I took the u turn as she said but It got me confused, firstly this house was huge, secondly there where so many doors after the turn and lastly, who build a house like this in a hostel.
I blinked at first, now what.
Trying to check the rooms, some where locked but the others where filled with couples making out.
I swallowed hardly to this, I tried checking the last door and it seemed totally free, I took a long glance at the place but it was really free.
Finally.
I entered the room since I couldn't find the restroom maybe i could use the one in this bedroom.
Taking a step closely to the next door in the room, i didn't really have the chance to admire the room but i know it was nice. I opened the bathroom door slowly not to make any noise, maybe someone could be making out in the closet.
I took a step in the bathroom as I closed the door tightly.
I sighed heavily.
I ran to the sink just to wash my face. Since I wasn't on any make up I didn't get a stain of mascara on my eyes.
This day wasn't getting any better, I looked at myself deeply in the mirror as I took a tissue to wipe the sad look off it.
I didn't really know why i was sad though.
Bang!
I flinch at the sound of something fall.
"Shh" I heard from the opposite side of this bathroom.
"Bad boy" I heard again as the girl mourn to whatever was going on right there.
I sighed again, now am really stucked here..I know when people make out it takes an hour or two, as i tried taking a few steps back wards, my back had a strong hit on something as it sounded really high, I turned to realize It was a door.
I shivered now, they probably heard it.
I stayed in the bathroom for probably thirty minutes.
I was not planning on spending the night here neither staying here any minute again, I added some extra bones to myself as I managed to get my ass out there.
I stopped in my tracks as I didn't see any two lovers, neither did I see anyone making out.
All I could see is a Alex trying to put his shirt on. He notices my presence as he stops also.
"Alex?" I said more confused as he raises his brows in confusion as well.
What is he doing here?
He removed his admirable eyes from mine as my eyes slowly went down just to see his torso and how large they where. At the left side of his abdomen a tattoo of a crown was drawn there at the right abdomen an arm was largely drawn.
He gently wears his shirt as he raised his head flicking his hair off his face.
I melted at a spot.
Remembering my mom and Enova, I couldn't be more stupid to let this chance go by. I had to speak with him. I bit my lips for a while and wondered how to start the conversation.
"Alex, can we talk?" I said, not surely convinced he would want to cause the aguement we had, but he had to, really.
I moved a little closer to him but he doesn't spare me a glance, he just tried to shrug me off.
Noticing he was trying to ignore me I added "Its really important" I held my breath a little.
He still doesn't turn as I looked around for a while then back at him, that's when he slowly turns his head at first but his body followed suit.
His eyes where directly locked with mine, as his brown eyes blinks in mine. My mouth failed me this time as my torso got stuck, looking at all his perfections has really got me paralyzed.
Thats when he raised his brows gesturing for me to speak.
"Uh-m, I"
"Angela!, there you are I have been looking for yo--" I turned my gaze immediately at the intruder that came in and Seeing it was mason, he added "You fucking bastard!" He exclaims.
As everything went so fast Mason had dived on Alex and fell annoyingly on the bed that was back at Alex, Mason was on top so he gave the first punch then another as Alex struggles to get off him but angrily punched Mason over at the face and he ended on the floor.
Alex stood up as he didn't waste any time attacked him on the floor, giving him punches as I shouted "Alex stop!" I yelled but he didn't stop thats when he got all feasty again as he wanted to raise his hands again to Mason, Mason had the opportunity to use his hand that wasn't lifeless to hit Alex again, Alex landed on the floor and off his body, that's when Mason got on top again as I yelled again "Mason please stop!" Like I was invisible or my voice wasn't heard, Mason continued.
Alex managed to get on top this time as I managed to push him off, he didn't get off at first but seeing he was already weak to Mason's punches he fell off.
I sighed heavily.
I looked at Mason for a while furiously, why did he had to do that.
Do they know each other?
I raised my gaze to Alex as I stare at him, he was already stained with his own blood all over his mouth. At this point I decided to walk over to Alex just to help him up but he doesn't accept my help as he was so arrogant and proud, I didn't listen this time, I helped him stand as I sat him In his bed.
"Angela" i turned my gaze to Mason who called me as I didn't give any face expression. He was also bleeding I looked from Alex to Mason. "Let's go Angela" He said.
My eyes lighted up to his statement, I didn't want to leave Alex all alone at the same time i had made a promise to Mrs Kourtney I wouldn't make Mason feel any worst.
Now am speechless.
My body didn't react to move at his words that's when he noticed and said "Are you planning on staying with this Fucking animal"
"Mason?" I questioned his statement.
He looked at me to Alex then said "Don't tell me, your in a relationship with this aardvark" he said and tried to attack again but I managed to hold him back so he wouldn't repeat himself.
"Mason please" I pleads.
I know I might not be In a relationship with Alex but i don't really know what is wrong with both of them, I had to stop this.
He stared at me dumbfounded, confused, his eyes where filled with venom as he Angrily took a step backwards and found his way out.
Now I feel worst than anything, I know this might make my relationship with Mrs Kourtney turn bad if he tells her but it was Mason who attacked Alex for no valuable reason.
I turned my head just to see that Alex was really in a bad shape, without double checking his face I searched around for a first aid kit, everybody has that at home, I tried checking the bathroom but I didn't see any.
"Try checking below my bed" Alex snapped as I came out from the bathroom. I raised my gaze to him with confusion.
Under his bed?
So this was his room.
I quickly went close enough and leaned down just to see the plus sign of the kit, I tried using my hands to buckle it out but I couldn't reach. I stood up but still on my knees when I looked at Alex that was surprisingly staring at me.
He wasn't smiling but I could see his eyes shinning to something.
"If your hands can't afford to reach the case, presicely my assumption where right" he smirked, with his eyes full of evil all of a sudden and he added "that your short."
I raised my brows to his statement as i didn't want to accept the fact that am short. I know I might not be tall but am neither short.
Ignoring his comment I leaned back down I tried grabbing the box, it was just inches away from me but it seems that the length of my hands couldn't reach the box.
I didn't look up but i could feel an evil stare on me, i tried functioning my body In a different direction as I leaned closer to the box, it was just so close then I grabbed it.
Bringing it up I smirked to myself and Alex notices and Immediately snapped it off my lips by saying.
"It took you a day, rejoicing by smirking doesn't suit you." He teased.
I thought he was supposed to be mad.
I rolled my eyes as I kept the box on a table close to Alex's direction. Opening the box
What i could see are, plasters in a variety of different sizes and shapes, Small medium and large sterile gauze dressing, triangular bandages, crêpe rolled bandages, safety pins, disposable sterile gloves, tweezers, scissors, alcohol-free cleansing wipes, sticky tape,thermometer (preferably digital).
I bit my lips to the fact that I couldn't use any.
Taking a quick glance at Alex's bruise, it seems he was still taking every second in staring at me.
With those eyes on me, I wouldn't be cleaning any bruise.
I took the alcohol free cleaning wipes just to step closer enough to him, I raised my hands towards his face to clean the bruise at first but Alex stopped me in my tracks.
He took it away from my hold, nodding that I should leave him alone.
I thought he was just teasing.
Now his back to being serious.
Sometimes I can't tell what his really thinking, he changes in a second. My gaze where seriously on him as he tries to clean it by himself.
"Can we talk?" I asked and he didn't move or look at me, he was just flinching To his own touch.
He finally gazed at me, then he said "We have nothing to talk about" within a blink he stood up and led himself outside.
I didn't hesitate in following his footsteps, when I reached out I could see he has gone far.
His long leg really does walk fast.
"Alex!" I tried calling him but he doesn't still answer.
I walked as fast i could then finally held his arm just to turn him around, he shruggisly turned.
And immediately locked his eyes with mine, the walls of this corridor where a dark green and the light where dim but our eyes still met as I could still see his brown ones.
"I wanted to tell you- uhm ask you" I decided to speak before he could decide to walk out. "I just wanted to thank you about the job you offered to my mom"
"It wasn't necessary but-" I cut myself off with his face that doesn't have an expression on. I didn't want to go further.
He blinked twice as if he noticed I wasn't going to speak then he said "I didn't know i gave your mom a job"
