Alison
Alison was in her room still grumbling about the affair but she knew that there was no stopping Anna once she got started. Anna had instructed her to go to her room and change into something presentable, while she went with Dean in hopes that he had a better shirt to wear.
Alison sighed and opened her closet and began her search for a different outfit, she first went over to her jeans and knowing that Anna would argue with her for choosing pants but if she wore them with a cute top Anna would leave her alone.
She stopped at her section filled with ripped jeans and selected a pair of light blue jeans then made her way over to her blouse section and went straight to the area filled with crop tops. Planning on wearing her black Doc Martins she decided to wear a cute black crop top.
She then made her way to her bathroom to get changed and style her hair. She knew Anna would go overboard with the shopping like always so she decided to redo her ponytail and pulled out a few strands to frame her face. She then got her makeup out and some of her accessories, after deciding to put on some mascara and some lipgloss, she put on her gold hoop earrings and her gold necklace with a crescent moon as its pendant and her matching rings.
At last, she smiled at her reflection knowing that Anna would be okay with her choice so she made her way to get her cardigan and her black mini backpack. As she was transferring her wallet and lipgloss into her bag someone began knocking on the door.
Dean
Anna had declared that he needed to change his outfit or at least his shirt, then demanded him to take her to the clothes he brought while Alison got ready. Dean looked over to Alison to see her shaking her head looking as if she was praying for patience, he then looked at Leo who had a huge smile on his face looking pleased, as if everything he ever wanted to started to fall into place.
As Dean was still processing the fact that they were going to the mall to eat and then they would go shopping for him, the thing that shocked him the most was that Leo was planning on paying for the entire trip. He knew they probably were very well off, based on their home but why would they offer to buy things for him? Was it really a gesture of thanks or was it charity?
He didn't get to think about it much anymore as Anna had tugged his hand and he nearly lost his balance. Anna was small but she was definitely strong, as she practically dragged him to the room he was staying in.
As they neared the door Anna got even more excited and pulled him to move faster.
"You do realize we the door won't leave right?"
"It won't but Alison will finish soon and if she finishes before we do she will start removing her jewelry or worse her lipgloss."
"Why?"
"Because she prefers simplicity but she knows me so she will put a little more effort in her outfit but if she finishes first she will start to judge herself and remove the few extra things she added."
"Okay then, but there is something I don't understand. Why did you come with me to the room I am staying in?"
Anna opened the door and made her way to his back as she answered his question, "Because I need to check your clothes sizes and make sure you look decent."
Dean felt somewhat offended, "So you are saying I don't look decent, but Alison said I would be fine in my casual clothes."
"And are those your normal casual clothes or the new, better-looking casual clothes you own?"
Dean scratched the back of his neck.
"Exactly!" Anna proclaimed as she began searching through his clothes.
"What exactly?" Dean asked.
"I see the way you look at her and obviously you want to make a good impression so you brought and are wearing the better choices in your closet, but my dear boy they could be better which is why I am checking your sizes."
"Didn't Alison's father say one outfit?"
"Don't worry stick around and you will get used to it," Anna said as she gave him a black t-shirt.
"They do this a lot?"
"Leo can be very intimidating when he wants to be but what he wants the most is for his kids to be happy and when they are he becomes grateful and when he is grateful he likes to send them on outings."
"So does that happen a lot with Alison?" Dean asked as he entered the bathroom to change.
"Oh yeah, he lets me drag her off to the mall and salon a lot even if she isn't always willing but everyone in a while we would stop at the bookstore or the music shop and you will see her light up like a star."
"So how long have you two been friends?"
"Since pre-school days."
Dean then stepped out of the bathroom and found all his clothes scattered on the bed, with Anna sitting on the only clear corner of the bed.
"Perfect now let's get going."
"Lead the way," Dean bowed and gestured for her to go ahead of him.
"What a gentleman."
Anna got up and made her way out of the room towards Alison's room as Dean followed behind her.
"So why doesn't she like shopping and going out?"
"Erm well she doesn't like to talk about it but I think it reminds her of mm..." Anna stopped talking as if she didn't know if she could tell him.
But she didn't have to Dean had already guessed, "Her mother?"
"You know?"
"Alison told me about her on our way here last night."
"Ah well yes, Alison's mom, Luna, used to be the one who took us shopping and to the salon when we were younger."
"Oh."
Anna then came to a stop as she knocked on the door they had stopped in front of.
"Coming."
Steps were then heard as Alison neared the door and then the knob began to turn. Alison opened the door wide and looked at Anna she then did a turn.
"Am I presentable?"
Anna looked in deep thought then she spoke, "It will do."
Alison smiled with relief and exited her room.
"Alright, guys we are now ready for the mall. Now let's get a move on because I am getting hungry."
Alison smiled, "Who is driving?"
"You obviously I plan on using my expertise in the store."
Alison laughed and turned to Dean, "You ready?"
"Yep."
Alison nodded, "Well then this way."
She led them to her car and after saying goodbye to her father they got settled in her car and she drove them to the mall.
