Revan: Penelope I'm back!
Penelope came out and walked past Revan, "What are you waiting for brother? Let's get going."
Revan: Let's go, just lead the way
The two of them walked around the stone floor of their villa. They went to the centre of 3 Peaks, the heart of it, the marketplace. They heard voices before they even made it to the marketplace.
Revan: It seems like it's lively at the marketplace
Penelope: The marketplace is the place to be. You can come to shop or you can come for work and the people are very kind
They finally made it to the marketplace. The floor was solid limestone and it had minimal dirt/dust on top of it. The wooden stands were held up on each side of the marketplace. The shape of the walkable areas outside of stands make a plus shape. There are 4 quadrants that have stands and tents and there are also people sitting on the floor with items placed on a piece of cloth.
Revan's nose was filled with a sweet chocolatey smell. It brought him back to Christmas. Back on Earth they had hot chocolate but Revan preferred white hot chocolate much more. Some coffee shops had them for the latter portion of the year but not for the rest so Revan bought them whenever he had the chance.
The man at the stand was slightly chubby but he has a very nice smile. He waved towards Revan and Penelope, "Little Miss you're back? I have a few extra desserts if you want to take them."
Penelope noticed the voice and walked towards his stand.
Revan: You know him?
Penelope: It's the dessert stand man, he has the best desserts in all of 3 Peaks. He's usually cooking at his restaurant but sometimes he comes down to the marketplace to sell his famous desserts at a lower price. Mhmm, they smell so delicious
Revan: Yeah I can't wait to try it
Penelope looked at Revan like something was off, "When did you start liking sweets? You usually disliked chocolates and candies when we were younger."
Revan rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I guess training for so long with the same food everyday made my tastebuds get bored of it. That's the only thing I can think of, or my preferences just changed."
Penelope was already ignoring Revan and eyeing all the desserts that were for sale.
