Ava's point of view
If gorgeous,amazing, fit for royalty doesn't explain this apartment then I don't know what does.Since Sophie had informed the owner of the building that we are students from South Africa and that we were coming here for study purposes and have no relatives here,which was a slight lie since Sophie had been here for about two years but just in another area. He had offered to by us furniture and cutlery free of charge.Sophie and I had pretended to resisted at first but ended up giving in later on.Looking at the apartment now I had no regrets.
As we stared around the room I was actually glad that we didn't turn down the offer.I mean we had three bedrooms each with a queen sized bed.They already had everything including the blankets and curtains,we had towels in the bathroom for drying,cutlery and pots and pans already,a dinning table with six chairs around it,in the lounge there was a flat screen TV,black couches surrounding it and a coffee table in between.Wow when people were talking about generosity I now know what they are talking about.
"OMG wow please thank your boss for us this is beyond amazing thank you so much."
"It's okay Ava your killing her"
Sophie snickered whilst saying that. I couldn't help myself this was beyond amazing,now I could spend the money that my mother gave me for furniture on something else. .
"I'm so sorry McKenzie"
I said as I realised that I had just practically jumped on her whilst we were both strangers to each other.
McKenzie giggle a little but I could tell that she was extremely uncomfortable, I just glad that she was atleast nice enough to try and hide her discomfort.
"It's okay don't worry I was also shocked when I saw your apartment well I know boss is very generous but not that generous"
"Wow please thank him for us"
"No problem Ava if you guys need anything just let me know,okay"
"Actually..."
Wait, what, was Sophie actually nervous I don't believe it because this girl is more like the queen of confidence.
"I was wondering if you wanted to bring someone over,is it allowed and is there a certain amount of people that you can bring..."
God kill me now seriously is Sophie that nervous that she actually doesn't know the answer to that question.It was in the rules of the flat.
Now when I think about it,Soph most likely didn't even read it.
I could see McKenzie looking at me the same way I was looking at her at Sophs question.She just made it bluntly clear that she didn't read any of the documents given to her.

"Oh okay thanks"
Sophie walked away as if she just did the most embarrassing thing in front of a dozen people,well she sort of did just infront of a complete stranger and me.Deciding to break the awkward silence that lingered in the air I turned towards McKenzie and smiled at her.
"Okay thank you so much McKenzie I hope to see you around some time soon."
"My pleasure and I also hope to see you around, bye Ava "

Once McKenzie left I locked the door and took my keys and bags with my towards one of the bedrooms.Since they were all the same I didn't really care which one I got but I mentally scream as I realised that I got the one that had a window that was practically facing the woods infront of me.They looked so breath taking and the air smelt of earth.I had to go jogging there sooner than later.I could already feel it calling out to me.
I turned on my heels and walked towards my wardrobe and threw it open.It wasn't a walk in closet but it wasn't small either,it was pretty reasonable.After packing I was happy to see that everything fit and there was still more room for more clothes.After yawning out loud I decided to get a bit of rest.Deciding against changing I just pulled my sneakers off and jumped onto the bed. As soon as my head hit the pillows sleep consumed me and I was soon in a deep sleep.
