Darien's point of view
"Seriously Darien where is Luca?"
Riccardo spoke breaking the silence.
"He's probably still in a heated make out session"
"Want to go take a look?"
"I thought you would never ask."
I replied with a smirk on my face.
Riccardo and I shifted into our wolves before taking off.Riccardo's wolf is black and red with a white snout.My wolf is grey and black all over.Its nearly the same size as Luca's wolf but because he is an Alpha he's wolf is slightly bigger.
Riccardo and I sniffed the air and immediately caught his scent.When we arrived we weren't surprised with what we saw.Luca and Aria were indeed having a really hot make out session.I grinned as I saw Luca grabbing his mate's ass greedily.
Luca then started making a trail of wet kisses until he reached Aria's soft spot which was on her neck and started sucking it.Aria let out soft moans which made Luca continue hungrily.
And well Riccardo and I being the good friends that we are decided to butt in.
"Hey Luca"
I yelled earning loud gasps from my Luna.Luca starred at me with eyes full of lust and anger.Behind me,thanks to my enhanced wolf hearing I heard Riccardo snickering as silently as he possibly could.
"What are you doing here!!"
I could practically feel the powerful aura radiating from Luca,which was powerful enough to send a wolf whimpering to it's knees but not me.
"Seriously dude you couldn't even wait to get upstairs to your room and your already making her moan so loudly it's hurting my ears."
I didn't miss the blush that quickly spread across Aria's face.Yes did it again!!!
And with my carelessness I earned myself a growl from Luca but when I looked into his eye's I could see that his wolf was present.GREAT!!! Nothing makes my day more than taunting Luca and his wolf, especially after they made me spend the whole day doing fucking paper work that he should have done.
Deciding against it to annoy Luca and his wolf Damien further I mind-linked him reminding him about our urgent meeting tonight.
I could see Luca sighing with realisation and defeat as to what I was talking about.He quickly kissed Aria goodnight and walked towards us.
"Whatever you wanted to talk to me about better be worth my time."
I rolled my eyes at him just to let him know that I didn't give a shit.My mate's life may be in danger and he still has time to remind me of my place in the pack.
"Okay first of all I know your the Alpha but I'm still your best friend."
"So that gives you every right to interrupt me when I'm busy."
I could see him fighting down anger as most probably his wolf was pissed of at what I did earlier on.
"Oh don't worry my urgent news will leave your wolf too angry to bother wanting to kill me."
"What are you talking about."
"I'm saying that earlier on when I was doing your paperwork I found a note from Goldfeathers saying that she caught a faint scent of vampires around her café,but I thought that she was just growing old and her nose was just playing tricks on her."
I could see Luca's eyes flashing with impatience and worry, I mean why wouldn't he.Not only is his pack and mate in danger but humans to.Even though we don't associate ourselves with them it doesn't mean that we don't protect them.
"Riccardo do you still have the letters written by the pack members."
"Yes Alpha but that's not the only thing."
"What is it."
I could see Riccardo hesitating to tell Luca so I did.
"Not only is it the pack members reporting but other Alpha's have sent letters warning us that they have spotted vampires on their territory but on the humans side."
"Riccardo make sure the territory is tightly secured,nothing comes in and out without us knowing."
"Yes Alpha."
"Luca let's head to your office to discuss our plan."
I suggested.I knew that right he was most probably on edge with this new information and so was I.Right now I couldn't risk my past coming back to haunt me especially when I was about to find my mate.
Luca and I walked to his office to discuss the matter.It was pretty obvious that the vampires were looking for something but what and why were the questions.
"We need to contact King McGovern and ask him if he was the one who sent all those vampires into our territories."
"That's fine I'll email him a letter right now." "But you know we can't sit around and wait for him,what if these vampires are attacking packs and humans,we need to find them before they do anything."
"Your right I'll call in some pack warriors and trackers to scout the area and look for any vampires or dead bodies." "In the meanwhile you,Riccardo and I will head down to the café to see if we can catch their scent or see them."
"Yes Alpha, you know for someone who is still full of lust your brain actually functions properly."
"Shut up Darien and just email that letter before I get someone else who can."
"Whatever ALPHA."
"Oh and don't forget to mind-link Riccardo about our plan BETA."
"Really we are still doing that."
I saw Luca smirking before leaving.Man I hate it when he does that.
"Before I forget next time go to your own SMALL office and leave mine."
"Just leave now I can still tell that your horny."
Now I got him.I saw him whipping his head to face me and trying to look angry but I could see past him and I could tell that he was actually embarrassed.As he left the office I decided to mind-link Riccardo and find out what he's doing.
"Hey Ric what are you doing."
"First of all don't call me Ric your making me sound immature."
"Fine what about cardo"
"No even worse."
"Whatever we'll talk about this tomorrow so what are you doing."
"Just finished putting all the guards up around the territory and you."
"Just finished sending King McGovern the letter." "Oh and by the way Luca said we are heading to the café tomorrow to see if we can spot or catch any of the vampires scent."
"Okay see you in the morning."
"Wait one last question,where are you sleeping tonight."
"Fuck of Darien."
