"B-brother?" Mamoru stuttered, staring at Lucien and then at Akira.
"I would've never guessed you had an elder brother too," Hikaru stated. "You really don't act like it."
"Too?" Jin hinted, showing a bit of interest.
"Ah yeah, I have an elder brother too," He answered, turning to Jin. "Though we don't share the same father, and before a week ago I hadn't really seen him in years."
"Oh? I bet you and Lily have more fun things in common," Lucien smiled. "You two are welcomed to visit anytime you want."
Akira didn't feel easy with the last statement, but he was thankful and a bit shocked that Lucien was acting like a normal elder brother around them, though he wasn't really. He decided to take it a bit easier, and pulled his attention from the conversation to focus on work, while the members swapped out to talk to the two boys during their breaks. He thought that was something bad, but chose not to mind it. That is, until he overheard a statement that escaped Mamoru's lips.
"The way Lily is, I bet you didn't know that he's going to be participating in a lot of matches on sports day."
The moment Akira heard this, he couldn't help but think the word 'Crap' as he resigned himself to inevitable uncomfortableness.
"Sports..."
"...day?"
"Participating?"
Luck, Jin, and Damien asked confusedly together.
"What's that?" Lesley inquired.
"Huh? Oh I suppose you might not know," Mamoru started, accounting for the fact that foreigners may not understand the concept. "It's next week Friday. A few schools come together to challenge each other in competitions and such. Whichever school comes out on top gets bragging rights and a cool trophy. Lily and Hikaru are participating in the martial arts based ones."
"I see," Jin snickers, he and the rest of the members, including those working turn to face Akira.
"And our Lily is participating in this huh?" Damien remarks.
"Isn't that a sight." Luck adds.
"Yeah. You can watch from the visitor stands," Mamoru continued, making Akira's heart sink.
"Visitors..."
"...stands?"
Mischievous grins spread themselves against their faces as each of them already knew what they were going to do that Friday.
"Oh, in that case," Luck started, moving next to Hikaru. "Will your brother be coming to watch you? You said you reunited with him last week right?"
"Hm? I don't..." His answer was cut off by the vibrating of his phone next in his pocket. He pulled it out and glanced at the screen, then letting an expression of dissatisfaction spread across his face, he read the text.
"Huh? Something the matter?" Mamoru queried, a bit concerned with his gestures.
"... It's fine. I sort of promised to have lunch with him today, but when he called and said he'd take a while, I didn't think it'd still happen." Hikaru sighed, shoving his phone back in his pocket after writing a short reply.
"Hm? You mean your brother?" Mamoru asked, piecing it together.
"Yeah."
"Then shouldn't you go meet him?" Jin inquired, tilting his head to the side a bit.
"It's fine. I asked him to meet me here," Hikaru said.
"Hmm... Well then he's most welcome," Damien stated, before going off to join Lucien and Katri in the kitchen.
Jin and Luck agreed, also going off to complete their duties.
It didn't take long for the silhouette of a tall handsome man to appear in the shop with the ding of the bell on top the entrance door. Because he was the only other male customer in the store apart from Hikaru and Mamoru, seated at the counter, he drew the attention of all the ladies in the store, and the gazes of all the members of the team, but when his wandering eyes fell on Akira, who had moved to serving cold drinks, he was every bit as shocked to see him as Akira was.
When Oliver noticed him, he flinched slightly before smiling as he greeted, "Welcome!"
"Ah, thanks," The man snapped back to his senses as he spotted the person he was looking for by the counter.
"Brother," Hikaru stated, as he took a seat beside him.
'Brother?!' Akira's thoughts jumped.
At the mention of the word, the members around turned back to look at the man that had walked in.
"So you're Hikaru's brother?" Jin asked, ambling over behind the counter as he wiped his hands on his apron.
"I don't really see a resemblance though. You look way too good looking to be his brother," Luck mused, handing him the menu, before moving back to take orders.
At least the line of girls outside had reduced considerably. Though Akira was occupied trying to move outside his line of sight.
"What can I get you?" Oliver asked, moving behind the counter to serve him.
"Ah, oh, um, I'm good." He answered, putting away the menu.
"Take your pick of anything, it's on the house," Lucien grinned, appearing behind Oliver.
"Huh?" He hummed with a confused tone.
"Your brother here has a friend discount, so please help yourself," Lucien stated, pointing in Akira's direction as he did, causing him to turn away reflexively.
Lucien's eyebrows furrowed as he watched how Akira was acting weirdly, but ignored it as he turned back to the man before him.
"Oh, in that case, I suppose I will order something," The man responded, allowing his eyes to linger on Akira a moment longer, before reaching into his inner pocket and pulling out a card. "Thank you for taking care of my younger brother. My name is Hideoshi Morrow, nice to meet you."
