Ryan started to explain what a Catalyst is when we got to town. He did end up letting me stay at his place since I didn't have a house anymore, he showed me where I would be staying for now and asked if I had a change of clothes. I didn't so he took me to the market.
"Hey don't wander off here, it may seem civil but anyone could be here to kill you."
"Sounds like experience talking."
We reached the armory which just so happened to be a basic clothing store too.
"Hi, how can I help you? Oh its just you Ryan, who's the chick with you?" I glared at the shop owner.
Ryan looked at me and then back to the vendor and asked him "You got anything that fits her? She doesn't have a change of clothes."
He looked me up and down then showed me where the female section was. First thing I did was go to the changing room to see if my body had undergone any drastic changes, it didn't. My hair turned from a dark brown to navy blue, my teeth were really sharp, and my ears were slightly pointed. But my teeth really made me feel uncomfortable, so I decided to grab a face covering or mask if they had one.

In the end I went with a black face mask, a white t-shirt with a red jacket, blue jeans, boots, and leather fingerless gloves. I just really liked leather gloves. After that Ryan ended up paying for me, which I thanked him for, and then we left and found that the once bustling market was now a ghost town. Ryan took once glance and found out why it was deserted
"You need to hide, the cult is here."
"Did you just say cult?"
Oh god, and just when I thought things couldn't get worse.
