Tuesday
Luna was woken up by her alarm. She reached out her hand to grab her phone on the bedside table. Once she did, she turned off the alarm and let out a small groan. "I don't want to go to work" Luna mumbled, burying her face between her pillows. She forced herself to get up and headed to her bathroom to take a shower, and then after a few minutes, she was done showering and changed into some casual clothes, not forgetting to hide one of her pocketknives, that she brought from her house, under her clothes. Finishing it up by drying her hair, she then went outside of her room and into the kitchen to make herself some breakfast since she still has an hour before she's late, considering that her workplace is just a few blocks away, she took her time to make herself some breakfast and eat. After eating, she went upstairs and wore her flat shoes, and grabbed her handbag that she always brings to work during the day. She went downstairs and grabbed her keys to her unit, she went out, closed and locked the door, and walked to the building since it's just a few blocks away.
Once she arrived, everyone was looking at her fondly and greeted her. Luna was confused but still managed to greet them back with a smile. She went to her office and she immediately noticed the bouquet of white roses on her desk with a small note in it. She walked towards her desk and took the note to read it. "Hey Christine, I hope you like these roses I bought for you. Can't wait to see you tonight, I'll pick you up around 6:45 -M" Luna reads out loud without any emotions. "Ugh, let's just get this over with" Luna added and rolled her eyes. She examined the flowers and realized that it was fake, it wasn't real roses, which made her a bit irritated. "early in the morning and I'm already irritated" she said to herself. She grabbed the bouquet of flowers and aggressively threw it on the couch. She placed her bag on her desk and took out her 2nd phone to call her boss. After two rings, her boss answered the call. "Hey Mrs. Belen, I just wanted to ask if there are any new requests?" Luna asked politely. "Good day Luna, and yes, someone had requested a dress for prom, I need the design by tomorrow, then after that, you can have your week off," Mrs. Belen said, which made Luna happy since she's been waiting for her week off for so long. "Okay, I'll be leaving the sketches to Ara tomorrow. Thanks, Mrs. Belen" Luna said and hung up. She puts her phone back in her bag. She sat on her chair behind her desk and took out the materials she needs to create some designs so that Mrs. Belen can choose which one she likes.
After creating so many designs, Luna didn't notice the time until she glanced at her clock on the wall and realized that her shift is over. She kept her sketches in her drawer and grabbed her bag, she left her office and went straight to her apartment to get herself ready. She tied the belt around her right thigh and placed her knives in. she wore a simple yet formal black dress that covers up her knees and wore her black velvet heels that have a sharp blade underneath. She didn't tie her hair up, instead, she curled it a little and let it hang effortlessly. She did a strong yet light make-up look; light foundation, filled in her eyebrows with a black eyebrow pencil, a winged eyeliner, and a red lipstick that's slightly dark. She sat on her bed while waiting for her "date" to arrive.
After a few minutes of waiting, someone rang her doorbell. Thinking that it was her "date", she went out of her room after grabbing her purse and opened the front door, once she saw who it was, she was a little surprised. "Micheal?" Luna said in a surprised tone. "yeah, it's me" Micheal said with a sheepish smile. "shall we?" Michael added as he offered his arm for Luna to hold. Luna was a little confused but still managed to function well. They went out of the building and went towards Micheal's car. He opened the door for Luna and smiled at her. "He's being a little creepy," Luna thought and went in the passenger's seat. Micheal close her door and went to the driver's seat. He then started his car and drove to their destination. "so, where are you taking me?" Luna asked politely, she didn't want to blow-up her actual identity. "I'm taking you to a fancy restaurant. I already reserved a table for us" He answered as he glanced at Luna. She just smiled and nodded. After a few minutes, they arrived at this fancy restaurant that looks very expensive. "wait here, I'll get the door for you" Micheal said before leaving the car to got Luna's side and opened her door. Yeah, that won't work on me sweetie," Luna thought while thanking Micheal. He suddenly held "Luna's hand without asking her permission nor glancing at her, which made Luna very uncomfortable, but she kept her cool and went on with it. They walked inside the restaurant together and went up to the front desk. "table reservations for Micheal Cunning" Michael said to the lady. The lady looked at her book record for a few seconds. "ah yes, table for two. Right, this way sir" the lady said and guided us to our table. Micheal lets go of Luna's hand and pulled the chair for her. She kindly smiled at him and sat down. He then walked to his seat and sat down as well. Luna was scanning the place while Micheal was starring at her. "How lucky I am to have you as my future wife," Michael thought. After a few minutes, their food arrived, and they started to eat.
Luna was peacefully eating when Micheal suddenly spoke, making her stop her actions. "How about you start to live with me" Micheal suggested, making Luna choke on her food. "I'm sorry, what?" Luna asked, trying her best not to be blunt and rude. "I mean, your father already planned our wedding, which is in a few months. Right after your 22nd birthday" Micheal casually says. "Do pardon me Micheal, but I don't know what you're saying" Luna stated, earning a scoff from Micheal. "stop playing dumb Luna, I already know who you are" Michael said with a smirk plastered on his face. "Your father, John Crawford, made a deal with my parents. If his only daughter marries me, he will pay us 5 million dollars. He planned this way before you ran away. He told us that the wedding will happen when you turn 22, and that will happen in a few months. At first, I didn't realize that I was working with the person I'm supposed to marry, but then your mother showed me a picture of you walking in a coffee shop one day and told me that the lady in the picture was her daughter, Luna Crawford" Micheal explained. "Since when did you know?" Luna asked, glaring at Micheal. "about a few weeks ago. Now tell me, how did you do it?" Micheal asked, placing his elbows on the table to lean forward. "how did you manage to hide your true identity for so many years?" he added. Instead of answering him, Luna grabbed something from her purse without Micheal noticing and stood up. she walked over to Micheal, placing her hand on his shoulder, and leaned near his ear to whisper. "Because I'm good at it" she whispered. She retrieved her hand and walked away, but before she could go any further, she turned her head to the side. "Oh and have a safe trip home," she said and turned around, walking away, further and further with a small smirk on her face. little does Micheal know, Luna placed a very small tracker on his shoulder, planning on finding him later and making him pay.
Luna called out a cab and went back to her apartment. She immediately went into her unit and changed into the clothes she brought from home, placing her knives on her belt, hiding a blade underneath her boots, tied her hair in a bun, puts on her black contact lenses to hide her amber-colored eyes, and wore her black mask and black bike gloves. She checked her original phone to find where the tracker is. Once she got the full address, she grabbed her motor keys and ran to the parking lot, not forgetting to lock her door before leaving of course. She hops on her bike and started to go to Micheal's whereabout.
"Let's see if you'll still be alive for the stupid wedding," She thought to herself.
