"Blessing of the water god: aquatic tridents, hit them!"
Tridents made out of water formed and floated in the air, he aimed them at us, so we proceeded to run back to the entrance leading here for cover. Suddenly, we couldn't find the opening leading here, it was gone!
"C-crap, we're out of luck..."
"We have no choice but to fight!"
"What makes you so determined!?"
"There's no way out of this alive...so I'd rather fight until the end so that I won't die a shameless death!"
After she claimed that, she ran towards the humongous humanoid monster in front of us, she brandished her sword, and with a loud "shing!" she sliced the incoming tridents in front of her in half.
"Jade, it's too dangerous!"
"If I can't face this, then how can I face them?!"
She didn't stop, she kept going without stopping...I have to help her somehow.
"Crown fragment of gravity: Elevate!" she commanded
This is going to be the first time that I'm going to see her use her crown, she seemed pretty skilled as she touched some fallen rocks on the ground and made them levitate in the air. She formed some sort of staircase leading to the monster with the rocks she levitated.
"Isn't that dangerous!"
"I'd rather fight than die!"
She wasn't listening to what I was saying...the humanoid suddenly spoke as Jade was at the same height as he was.
"You look a tad bit familiar to me...creamy green hair, red eyes...could it be?!"
"I HAVE TO GET RID OF YOU BEFORE YOU REALISE!"
"Ah! You're the first princess, Jade Viridescent!"
So she was a royal...speaking of her she was just standing up there drooping...killing intent leaked from her...it sent a chill down my spine as she glared at the gigantic monster right in front of her.
"What's with the glaring? Your just a fraud! You were born from a maid and your father made a grave mistake of doing it with a servant and so your family didn't want anything to do with you so you're left wandering in the streets..."
"Stop."
"Stop what? Aren't you going to take revenge on your family?"
"Stop."
"Isn't that the reason you joined the crown association?"
"Stop!"
"Aren't you going to be a high ranking in the crown association so that your family will take notice of your value?"
"I SAID STOP IT! JUST SHUT UP!"
"Everlasting ice crown fragment: bloom, freeze this unworthy mortal that deserves to be ceased."
I couldn't help it anymore, someone I know getting ridiculed in front of me...he's getting too cocky...a vast amount of his watery body froze as it came in contact with the gauntlets of ice. Surprised, I caught the attention of Jade and the monster.
"YOU SLY BRAT!"
"Can you please shut that annoying voice of yours?"
"Tarus-"
"Let me handle this."
I brandished the Nemax as I ran through the now frozen lower body of this behemoth. I went into burst mode and managed to maintain three horns, I just noticed that the floating rocks were gone and that Jade was catching up to me with a pretty rapid pace.
"Didn't I tell you that I'll deal with this?"
"He knows something about me and what's with that ugly transformation?"
"So it looks ugly to you..."
"Foolish kids, let me teach you a lesson of messing with someone like me! Blessing of the water god: Spears of rain!"
I had to summon the shield of prejudice in order to block out the falling spears of rain that formed in the sky, the load was too heavy but I kept on moving my heavy body. I grabbed Jade and let her near me as she was outside the range of the shield. She let out a weird sound indicating that she must be flustered but it doesn't bother me right now. Heavy droplets of sharp water rained down above us, it was sharp enough to pierce through the thick sheet of ice I made.
"This is bad! We have to defeat him quickly! Who knows when the sheet of ice is going to crack and break into pieces!"
"Tarus, toss me over to him!"
"What are you planning?"
"I can kind of sense his core somewhere near his head!"
"That's not going to work so we're tossing ourselves to him!"
"What kind of ridiculous plan is that?!"
"At least it isn't as suicidal as your plan you dumbass!"
"Foul language!"
"No time to argue, take out your sword and in the count of three I'll be jumping!"
"Ok!"
"One...two...three!"
Just as I jumped into the air, with the shield of prejudice gone, spikes of water hit me along my body, I placed Jade under me in order to cover her somewhat. I also used the white flames to boost myself.
"TARUS WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!"
"Hold out your sword! Align it with mine!"
She brandished her sword and raised her right arm while I raised my left, with both swords in front of us, I imbued ourselves with corrosion whilst making sure that it didn't harm Jade.
"We're going in hot!"
"Don't say misleading things!"
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"YOU BRATS!"
The monster retaliated for the last time as he made several beams of high pressured water...it was useless as it just corroded away when it came in contact with us.
"IT'S USELESS!"
"WILL YOU PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR OF DYING WITH MY FAMILIES SECRETS?!"
"MEER KIDS!"
The corroded water disappeared and we went through his head at an amazing speed.
"NEMAX, FORM TWO: EXPAND!"
With the range of the Nemax expanding, I made sure to hit his core and slice it in half.
"You're going to be explaining this to me later alright?!"
"Y-yes...now how do we get down that's he's destroyed?"
"Use your sword as a ledge! Quick!"
I did as she said and once more I expanded the Nemax, I stuck it in the wall deep enough to support us.
"This is going to be a problem..."
"Huh...?!"
