When climbed out of the tunnel the sun was shining brighter than anything that I've ever seen since I was taken into the underground kingdom. I had to block my eyes while looking at the sky and I turned around from where we came from and saw a humongous tree in the back reaching the heavens itself. The tree had twisted barks and its leaves span across the sky.
"W-what the hell is that huge tree?!"
"The elders call it 'Yggdrasil' or the tree of life, they say that it was planted here at least a millennia ago but they're not so sure because they couldn't do research because of the dangers of the surface." Lilly explained
"I see....how about those pillars I see in the distance?"
"Those are the pillars of the 7 deadly sins...as for the 8th sin, rumors said that it could be inside Yggdrasil itself, were not so sure about those claims though.
"So those things are located around the circumference of the Yggdrasil. What's the use of them though?"
"Well we're not so sure about that, there are so many mysteries as to what happened 150 years ago and why the kingdom was forced to move in underground. Oh yeah let's discuss what we are gonna do for today, we need to hunt some demons and there are 3 categories to them which are low-grade demon, middle-grade demon, and the strongest of them all high-grade demon. On our level, we can maybe take on low-grade demons solo and for middle-grade demons maybe we can attack them on teams of two. We are prohibited to take on high-grade demons because they are too powerful for our level right now and it can cast curses on you, unlike the other 2 lower categories that only have physical attacks and elemental attacks. About the elemental attacks, you can differentiate it by the color of the cracks of the demons and their eye sockets color, blue for water, red for fire, brown for earth, and white for air."
"So are the skins of the demons hard?"
"Yeah, you need not only brute force but skill and precision in killing them. You can also differ them by their size and their horns, obviously, a high-grade demon is the biggest of the three, while low-grade demons are the smallest. A low-grade demon has 1 horn, while a middle has 2, and the high-grade demon has 3. We need to be careful with dealing with them as they have taken the lives of at least 60,000 people, we are not sure about the number of the people who have suffered from the demons because we lack resources and we are only living thanks to the roots of the tree which makes crops and livestock flourish."
"I'll take note of that!"
"Ok everyone get ready! Were entering demon territory and they should start appearing soon. The area we are currently in is the Yggdrasil haven which is a safe zone and there is a line of black flames that usually cover the border between the haven and the territory of the demons, but it's gone today because it's demon-hunting time."
"D-don't push yourself too hard!" shouted Mandy
"Let's do our best!" said Nile
"Tch!" you know who said it
"We're arriving shortly! Get yourselves ready!"
The vehicle was running faster than 2 horses and I could see the border line in the distance. I'm getting excited for some demon hunting! The area going to the border was very rocky and no trees in sight, only the Yggdrasil is the tree I could see. After a few minutes of driving, we arrived at the border and I could see no demon in sight, I was very curious about how the demons materialize. I stepped past the border and suddenly I couldn't move my body, then there appeared two arms from the ground that grabbed my leg.
"TARUS! Cut the arms quickly! You'll get stuck in hell and be tormented for who knows how long! QUICKLY!"
"C-crap! I can't move my body!"
The demon's grip on my leg was so tight, I had to resort to cutting my leg...hopefully it will regenerate. My teammates were wary of going near me so I have to prevent them from going to where I 'am.
"DON'T COME NEAR ME!! I'LL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! JUST GET AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE!"
"B-but!"
"I HAVE A PLAN, SO JUST GO AWAY FOR NOW, AND THEY SEEM TO BE ATTRACTED TO ME FOR SOME REASON!!"
"O-okay! We'll head to a safer spot in the west!"
"I'LL MEET YOU GUYS THERE THEN!!"
The others rode off into the distance and I was still stuck and noticed that I was being sucked in as if I stepped on quick san. I quickly got the Nemax out and sliced off my leg cleanly. I got used to the pain so it didn't bother me, but what bothered me is that instead of my blood being red...black blood flowed out. As for my slashed off leg, the thing or demon ate it and it finally got out of that black space where it came from. That thing is huge, it's at least 5 times bigger than me and it had 4 horns! A 4 horned demon, it's a rank higher than a high-grade demon and it had the color of red shining through the cracks in its body. I have to run quickly or else I will be killed, but my body won't move and I'm still waiting for my feet to regenerate. Out of fear I tried to crawl on the ground as quick as possible but that only attracted even more demons, some of them have 3 horns and 2 horns, so it was high grade and middle-grade demons. My leg regenerated slowly but surely, the demons breached the barrier and didn't get killed when they passed through the line, was it because the flames that Lilly mentioned were not there?! The look on the face of the demons, they let out a creepy smile which reminded me of Belgis....he also smiled as that demon did! I had to do something quickly before those demons get to me, luckily my leg regenerated just in time when the 4 horned demon bashed the ground and I was able to dodge it in the nick of time. An idea popped into my head about using two moves but it will probably take a toll on me, I remember only bits of my memories during the tournament when I and Kasu were covered in poison fog, there was this crown fragment that came down from the ceiling of the ceiling and I remembered it using something similar to what the demon used!
[KEKEKE...This kid is planning something amazing....combining the powers of the crown fragment of death and the 8th deadly sin crown fragment...KEKEK...what a brainy kid]

The two entities in my head were talking to each other, but I don't have time for that! I touched the ground and after using this move numerous times I became familiar with it, thus I can control it more efficiently.
"CORROSION!"
I directed corrosion to the area where the demons are and I made a pit-like thing deep enough so that no demons will be able to escape. Using that move the toll on my body was immense! I spat some blood out and I could faint any minute but I had to go on and kill all these demons.
[KEKEKE...kid I'll lend you some of my power this time...KEKEKE]
"Thanks.....OPEN GATES OF HELLL!"
I spat out even more blood and on the brink of fainting, several black arms caged the multiple demons and I heard their screams. After a few seconds of silence, I could hear footsteps and a mysterious figure showed up.....
"Oh my....." the mysterious figure said
