Finally. She admits her real feelings for me. At least I hope she did or will soon. Alisa just looks at me with lots of uncertainty in her eyes. "What's wrong? You have this look of uncertainty, that shows on your face?" I asked, worried. "Oh, nothing's wrong. I am just not sure what I should say or do right now. I don't understand this," she says. "What is it that you don't understand? Talk to me. I'm here to listen," I asked. But, before Alisa could talk, a messenger comes into the room. "Oh. Excuse me, Your Highness, there is a call waiting for you, sir. The caller said it was important," they said. I nodded in acknowledgement. "Be right there," I say. They walk out. "Go ahead. Don't worry about what I was worried about, it's really nothing," I hear Alisa from behind me. I sighed. "I'll be back to continue our talk. It's important to me. Excuse me," I say, through clenched teeth. 'She needs to realize her worth to me.'
I head to my study and pick up the phone. 'Hello. Who is this?' I ask. "Prince Chris, this is King Damien. Destiny's father. I've heard that you had ended the relationship with my daughter? Why is that? For two normal and pitiful women?" he asked. "First of all, yes, I ended it with her. Secondly, did she also tell you that she pushed one of them over my palace balcony and almost killed her but thankfully I was able to catch her on time. Lastly, did she also tell you that she released two abusers and rapists from prison? And I know you despise men like these," I say, through clenched teeth.
I hear him yell, "Destiny, you released two abusers and rapists from jail?! And you tried to kill a woman?! No wonder he has ended things with you. I'm very disappointed in you." "Dad, are you seriously yelling at me right now?! You know what? Fine," I hear Destiny say back to him."Sorry about that. I had no idea that she did that. Let me let you get back to your day," he said. "It's alright. Alright, have a good day, sir," I say, hanging up the call. I head back into my room to find it empty. I went to look for Alisa so we can continue our talk, but I saw her talking to my mom. I leave out before they notice me.
