"Well," he started. Should he start telling her the truth now? No, he's not ready for it.
If he told her that he is good at it, she would suspect him, and that's the last thing he wanted.
"Do you know anything about computers?" Tonette repeated herself.
"A bit... I mean I am no expert, " he lied. "Why? I thought you have people in your company that are good at computers. I mean, can't you ask for help from them?"
Tonette sighed. "That's the thing... They too can't do anything about it. Anyway, let's not talk about this. I'll handle it. Why don't we finish our breakfast? We don't want to waste our precious time worrying when we could be filling our stomachs by now."
Roger chuckled. "I guess, you're that hungry."
Tonette stood up to walk over the dining table. Roger followed her and pulled up a chair for her.
"Are you kidding? This had been my best hearty breakfast since I was still with my family."
