"I know. It was a very stupid move. But I just thought that maybe he could help me explain to the public about my rumored past... Let him come clean... Maybe prove to you that there was nothing between us and that awful kiss was his way of expressing what he felt towards me."
Alex just stared at him. She had promised she would not judge him but at this point, she wanted to get mad at him for being too careless.
"You should not have gone there," she blurted out.
"I know... but I did not know this was what he's going to do," and he sighed. "I guess this was his form of revenge."
