Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Fence

A rusty old fenced stood sky high, protecting students of Senshin Academy from Keisetsu High. Many of Senshin's students raised multiple concerns, afraid that one day, the fence might tear apart, letting loose the untamable Animal Kingdom built beside them and unleashing chaos. Yet, their requests to replace the thin fence was futile as always, and no one knew why.

Senshin Academy was a name said with pride. Every single student within those luxurious walls was of someone either powerful, famous or filthy rich. Attaining magnificent achievements that might have seemed impossible accompanied with countless praises sung by important people, students belonging or have graduated from the prestigious academy had their future secured. They were, in fact, the future.

The secret to their underlying perfectly sculptured outside view of the Institute was the student council. Made up of seven important individuals ruled as the ultimate superiors over everyone. The 'Elite Seven' as they call it, had the final verdict over everything. With the teachers reporting to them weekly and implementing the rules of Senshin, the Elite Seven were not to be simply crossed paths with.

Keisetsu High. A school said to be ran by the mafias. A place with no hope for the animals being contained in there. Though their riches could almost be matched up with Senshin's, they weren't by any means built upon clean money. Students in Keisetsu High are nothing more than delinquents with no means of intelligence on academic results. Criminal records, expulsions from other schools, you name it all, could be found within every student in Keisetsu. However, fear would shiver down the student's spine when you would ask, "Who runs Keisetsu High?".

It was home to non-other than the 'Scar Syndicates'. Its name could only be whispered in terror by commoners, frowned upon by the rich and feared by the underground world. Funny, it so happens that the illegitimate son of the Scar Syndicate's head ended up in that school. Even students of Keisetsu were afraid of him, with no choice but to bow their heads down with respect, while others silently despised him presence.

Both schools filled with dark secrets, awaiting to be exposed to the other in order to take one of the other out. After all, there could only be enough space for one school.

Elyse rubbed her face in frustration as she looked around the cold, empty room. No one turned up as usual. As the head of the Elite Seven, you'd think she powered over the other six.

Elyse Roxley was, with no doubt the first daughter of the very powerful and well known Roxley family. With two younger brothers, she holds the pride of taking over her father's business, whom was sought after by many others competing in the industry of riches.

With beautiful locks of natural auburn hair, bright eyes with a hint of authority, a sharp nose, pretty pink lips and a strong jawline, Elyse had many boys pinning after her looks. However, they would only approach her if they wanted a death wish.

She was feared among Seishin for being strict and uptight. To complement her despised personality, the only 'friends' she would even consider were the other six elites, who were currently, no where to be found for several weeks or more. Other than those troublesome members, she had no one. No one wanted to interact with her, only talking about either her beautiful looks or loathing her distasteful attitude.

Elyse decided to brush off the thought, leaving the room, in hopes that tomorrow might be a different outcome than the previous empty meeting rooms including today's. With nothing else to do, she could only think of heading home and taking a long hot shower.

The evening sun was setting, and night was crawling. She made her way out of the brightly lit corridors of Seishin and walked along the thin fence as it was the only path in or out of school. Elyse instinctively moved a few steps away from the fence, afraid of interacting with the animals on the other side.

Luckily, the other side was empty as school had ended hours ago, only with Elyse stupid enough to think that the other six members would turn up to their monthly board meetings.

Suddenly, Elyse heard a soft snoring towards her left, almost as if a cat purring. She turned around, only to see a mop of luscious black hair, with the sunrays beaming down, creating a dark halo around the Keisetsu student.

The mysterious student had his back against the fence, his arms folded against his chest and was sleeping oh so peacefully.

Elyse quietly tip-toed closer to the student, trying to get a better glimpse of the dark haired fallen angel. She sucked in her breathe as she carefully scanned over his flawless features.

Long eyelashes, a perfect nose with delicious looking lips complemented with rosy cheeks and a slight hint of dimples. He looked to be around her age and, on top of that, was gorgeous.

Elyse snapped back to reality when she realized that that was a Keisetsu student she had just complimented.

'What was I thinking?' She thought to herself, shaking her head, deciding to leave the handsome sleeping male alone, she turned around and headed towards the exit once again.

The sound of rustling startled Elyse, jumping around, she saw the boy stretching subtly.

"Oh. It's the prez."

His voice was low and gruffy. It somehow made Elyse's heart swoon at his deep voice.

"H-huh?" Elyse stuttered. How could she stutter? Much less at a Keisetsu student? She doesn't even know his name!

The black haired student was now facing her, still sitting on the ground. His hands were on the fence, tugging at the thin metal, as if wanting to enter Seishin's territory.

"Do you have any food?" he asked while staring straight into her eyes.

Remembering her status of thinking that all Seishin's students were superior to Keisetsu's, she stood up straight.

"I do not waste such precious money on food for someone from YOUR side." she huffed, tilting her chin upwards and looking down on the handsome student.

"That's cute."
