Eight Hours Earlier.
In a room that looked more like an office, a woman sat in front of a desk. She stared at the time and frowned. She cast a glance at the cup of coffee she was offered earlier and shook her head. It had become cold.
Just then, a man walked in with a bright smile on his face and sat before the woman who although did not seems so pleased to see him but still offered him a polite nod.
"I am sorry for keeping you waiting for so long" he said.
"Why did you call me?" the woman questioned.
"I need your help" he voiced immediately without a hint of hesitation.
"My help? In what way?" The woman raised a brow as she stared the the handsome man sitting before her but she did not mind his appearance at all. In fact, she looked like she held some unknown grudges against the man.
"Ah. Madeline, are you mad at me?" The man questioned. His smile still plastered on his face. It seems there as something he was extremely happy about.
"Why did you leave?" Madeline demanded.
