After hearing that, how could Lisa have the heart to send William back to boarding school? Instead of taking the boy to school again, she's going to take William out of boarding school and put him in a public school!
For the next few moments, Lisa really didn't know what to say. Her eyes felt hot and she knew that soon tears would run down her cheeks. The woman pursed her lower lip, expressing how sad she was to hear William's request.
"Okay, I promise not to take you to school for the next few days. I can take you to the principal and ask permission to take a few days off." Lisa replied while trying to hold back her tears.
"Really!? You're not lying to me, right!?" William asked back. The boy immediately got off the dining table chair and ran to his mother's chair which was in front of him. Without needing to ask, Lisa immediately lifted his tiny body and hugged him tightly.
"Since when did I ever break my promise to my favorite child, hmm?"
