Midnight approaches, the moon nears its full phase on a silent night. A single light remains on in the college dorms, in a studio room where a male student, possibly eighteen years old, was working on some last-minute work. His black hair sprawled across his face as he worked. The portrait he was working on was none other than Dracula himself. He had several others resting against the wall in the room. This human had a deep fascination for creatures of the night, this fascination of his led to his being ridiculed and ostracized by his peers because of his belief of them being real.
He read books cover to cover, wanting to learn more about the creatures of the night. In his heart, he wished to meet a vampire. He would soon learn that you must be careful what you wish for, since not all wishes are granted how we perceive them. Unbeknownst to him, as he was in deep thought, he had caught the eye of just the creature he wished to meet, a vampire.
For the last few nights, the vampire would watch him as he worked from the balcony outside of his window. Intrigued by his work, it was difficult knowing what intentions the vampire held for the young man. Soon, his wish would come true, even if it would not be how he envisioned it; his life would soon be shrouded by the night and blood. With an uncertain future, what would the darkest nights of the vampire world hold for him?
