Seeing the expression on Necros's face, Ignatius stepped back a little. He saw in his facial expression that he knew that Ventis was not within the walls of the manor where he was safe. Ignatius gulped and nodded in response to Necros's question," I disobeyed you, M'Lord, I took Ventis with me on my shopping trip despite your many warnings to not do so and now he is in the hands of your twin brother," he bowed deeply to Necros, touching his head to the floor before his Master's feet groveling for forgiveness. Necros ground his teeth, the feeling he had before proved to be true. The rug had been pulled from under his feet, by none other than his twin.
"I will not kill you for this, though you will be punished later. For now, we must save Ventis from my brother before it is too late. There is no saying what he will do to him just to draw me out. Did he say anything before leaving with the boy?" Necros asked urgently. He didn't want to overlook anything when it came to his safety. Ignatius nodded," He said you would know where to find him and he wanted you to come and take Ventis back yourself," Ignatius responded in a hushed but panicked tone. He dreaded the punishment he would receive, but he was more concerned for the boy's well being. If he had ignored his pleas, he would still be safe though sulking. But he had much rather he sulk and be safe than for him to be where he was now.
A great distance away, Ventis woke to find himself chained to the wall of a cell wall. He looked around wide-eyed, trying to figure out just where he was. He looked down at the floor and up above him and found that there was no way for him to escape his predicament. "He said he was his brother," he muttered to himself under his breath. Now, he understood just why Necros seemed to have a lot on his mind. He worried about this brother of his and what he may or may not do. Feeling hopeless, he looked outward and saw another cell full of people. They looked to be human like himself. He couldn't help but wonder if he would be forced to stay here. He now wished he hadn't pushed Ignatius to take him along.
He heard footsteps coming near, the man from the marketplace stood in front of his cell," I see you are awake boy. Now, I will see just how much my brother cares about you. This should be an interesting turn of events," he said as he laughed walking away not even giving Ventis a chance to respond to him. He was the bait it would seem, but would Necros even come to his rescue he wondered. He had never once said if he cared about him but during his time at the mansion, he went out of his way to make sure he was comfortable, so maybe he did care. He closed his eyes, letting his head fall feeling ashamed now. He was going to be the reason that Necros would be forced to confront his brother, he never spoke of him before so he probably was on bad terms with him, this thought made him feel that much more guilty.
In the main area of where Ventis was, Armand looked out a tall window into the far distance," Now then brother, will you come for him or do I get a free toy to do with as I please?" Armand asked out loud as a demented smile crossed his face. He stood with his arms crossed as if he was just waiting for him to fall for his trap. Around him, lower level vampires looked at each other nervously. None of them dared say a word to him while he was in this mood. He was known to take his anger out on anyone around him. It was unclear as to why it was that he hated Necros but he went out of his way to find ways to hurt him. This time was no different, he was thinking of ways to use Ventis against Necros as the seconds passed by.
In the prison cells, Ventis struggled against his chains having regained his determination to not be the bait used against Necros. No one had been as kind to him as Necros and had, he wasn't about to let that be rewarded by him being the cause of any of them being hurt. Grinding his teeth he continued pulling against the chains despite knowing it was futile. An old man across from his cell watched him shaking his head," Give it up boy, these chains have held even vampires prisoner, there is no getting out without someone's help," the old man yelled from across the cell. Ventis looked up as he heard him. The old man was in raggy clothes and looked to be rather scrawny. He must be what he had heard from Ignatius, he thought back to one of their discussions in the library.
"Ignatius, this book says vampires keep blood dolls, what's a blood doll?" he had asked him looking up from the book. Ignatius had gotten a very solemn look about him. He sat next to Ventis and sighed," First know this, not all vampires are like Necros. Many are like the legends say, cruel and vindictive. Now, a blood doll is a human that either gives blood by choice or is forced to do so. I see them as a person to be pitied, as they will often get addicted to the feeling of having their blood drunk and are unable to lead normal lives because of that addiction." Ventis had looked back down at the book in his hands, he couldn't wrap his mind around it at the time and he had just thought it was awful; however, now that he was seeing a blood doll with his own eyes, he saw exactly what it was that Ignatius had meant, the people across from him did look like those to be pitied. Some of them were yelling at the top of their lungs, begging for their blood to be drunk, whereas others were rocking back and forth or crying. It was a terrible sight to behold.
Meanwhile, back at the manor, Ignatius and Necros had pinpointed where Armand was holding Ventis. " If I know my brother, he'd want to torture me in the home of our father, the man he had killed in front of me, knowing how close we had been." He muttered to himself as he looked over a map. " The only home he had here was deep in the mountains over here," he told Ignatius as he pointed on the map. Ignatius nodded remembering the home personally, as he had been there before but driving there was not possible this worried him but his trail of thought had been cut off as Necros looked at him," You are not coming with me, Ignatius. You'd be someone else he could use against me," Necros told him not giving him a choice in the matter. Ignatius went to protest but Necros turned to him with cold eyes," Think of this as part of your punishment. If you had not taken him with you, you would not have to worry about my well being as I went to face my brother alone," he told him coldly. This showed that he was far from over his mistake. Ignatius simply nodded, swallowing hard as he looked to the ground.
Without another word, Necros vanished in a cloud of dark energy transporting himself to his father's mansion. They had grown up in that mansion, his brother took it over to try to hurt him more so than he already had when he had killed their father. It was something he would never forget nor forgive his brother for. With narrowed eyes, he walked up the path towards the mansion, normally he would just appear in the mansion but he wanted to locate Ventis first. If he could save him first, he could keep him from being mixed up in their fight. Ventis didn't need to know just how demented Armand could be. Once he was near the mansion, he closed his eyes seeking the energy of Ventis. Normally, there was a barrier up keeping magic from being used but at the moment it was down. This in itself proved that he was baiting him to save the human, Armand was waiting for him to show up, he probably already knew he was here.
From the living room of the mansion, Armand smiled seeing that his brother had arrived like he had hoped he would," Well then, it seems you do care about this human boy. You probably think to save him from terrible old me," he said rather excitedly as he started to laugh maniacally. He then looked at one of the vampires in the room with him, " Bring me his pet," he snapped. A male vampire gulped slightly and nodded and left the room to head for the cells. He didn't dare disobey him, there was no saying what he would do to him. What was worse, his brother had arrived, it was about to become a war zone. He wished he could be anywhere but here and who was to say what doom he would be bringing this young human to, but he had his orders.
As he looked around for the unique energy of Ventis, he saw a lower level vampire heading towards an area in the mansion," So, you locked him in the prison cells and now that I am here you plan to have him brought to you. This, I can use to my advantage," he muttered to himself as he became a swarm of bats flying into the crevices of the building, finding the ventilation system and moving through it towards the prison holding area. Finding where he wanted to go, he moved through the opening and landed in front of the vampire who then looked at him in surprise as he shifted from his bat form to his normal form.
"You seem to have something of mine," he told the vampire as he saw him holding Ventis in his hand by the chains. " To chain someone like some animal, I don't think I like that when you do that to someone I hold dear to me, now I give you two choices. Return him to me, or die," he told the vampire as he narrowed his eyes. The wide-eyed vampire male nodded in understanding as he handed the end of the chain to Necros, just to be blasted through the chest by an energy ball. Ventis had then been levitated to none other than Armand who was standing at the entrance of the prison.
"It's a good thing I missed, little brother. Now, imagine if it had gone half an inch over," Armand told him mockingly. Necros growled at his twin with such a fury that it became hard to breathe the air around them. Then, remembering Ventis and hearing him gasp for air he calmed himself down, focusing on what he came to do. "I grow weary of your games, Armand. Now, return Ventis to me!" he shouted at his brother angrily. Armand only sneered in response, bringing Ventis closer to him taking a good look at him. Ventis looked at Armand wide-eyed, this vampire made Vladimir look almost huggable he thought to himself.
"My, he is a pretty little human, so fragile too," he said in a teasing tone as he drug one of his nails down the side of Vetis's neck and face cutting skin open along the way causing Ventis to scream out in pain. Tears welled up in his eyes realizing how little Necros could do, his life was on the balance of a knife and he knew it. Necros growled as Ventis was hurt by his brother, clenching his fist until it bled. He refused to lose another person to his brother, not this time he thought to himself. Grinding his teeth he was trying to come up with a way to save Ventis from his psychotic brother. Then, a thought came to him, the one thing that had always made his brother angry at his father. He probably still held that grudge against him for being chosen instead as well.
" This has always been about father not choosing you to be the next in line to take over his title, hasn't it? This is over the title of count!" he yelled at his brother. Instantly, Armand grew angry, dropping Ventis," Of course it is. Why should YOU get the title?! You aren't even as strong as I am!" he declared yelling at Necros. With how much they looked alike it was almost like staring at clones, Necros who wore all black with his hair held in a red ribbon to stand out from his attire, his red eyes often kind and calm. Then, there was Armand who wore mostly white and some black with his hair kept down. His eyes showed only hatred and vindictiveness. Seeing the chance to get away from the vampire, Ventis crawled closer to Necros and the doorway. He had no clue about titles that vampires held but he guessed that count was pretty high on the list with how Armand was reacting.
"You think you are stronger than me, Armand?" Necros asked in a mocking tone causing Armand to grow more infuriated. His plan had worked, as he was now fully focused on him instead of Ventis. "Of course I can defeat you! Each time in the past you have ran away so it will be the same now!" he all but screeched at Necros who held a smug grin on his face. He had been training since their last bout and he wasn't about to run away now. Across the room, Ventis had managed to find an area with a computer desk, he decided he would hide under there while the brothers duked it out. Grinning Necros started to walk closer and closer to his twin, while his brother was yelling at him to stop just to realize that his leverage on him had gone and hidden somewhere. The color of his skin had faded realizing this, so he had simply charged at his brother and the fight had begun.
Back at Necros's mansion, Ignatius paced the floor in several directions, changing which way he went each time he reached the end of the walkway. He couldn't believe he had angered him so, normally he would take him with him during these fights but this time he refused and had gone as far as to blame him for the entire thing. He finally sat on one of the couches and placed his head in his hands. In all of his years of service to Necros, he had never messed up this badly, and now he had his wrath to contend with later. Granted that he got out of the fight with his brother unscathed. He looked up towards the ceiling, apologizing to Necros's late father for putting his son in such a predicament, then he stood and got all of the staff back to work as a means to distract himself, the one thing he would not allow is for Necros to return home to a messy home.
The fight had heated up, the twins were jumping all over the place at each other, the building itself was shaking from the impacts of their hits on each other. The vampires in the room had decided it was best to vacate the premises, in a quick manner. So they left the building and left in various ways to get as far away as they possibly could. Ventis though was stuck using the computer desk as a shield from the tremors going on around him. Being human, he couldn't just up and run away and he didn't even know where this was. They were evenly matched in their strength, as one became injured so too did the other; it was becoming an endless cycle. Necros started to realize the damage on the mansion and the chance of Ventis becoming hurt worse than he already was. It was time for him to take Ventis and leave he thought to himself.
He looked at his twin, " We seem to be evenly matched and all of your followers fled it would seem," Necros told him mockingly. Armand looked around and saw that he was right, growling he looked back at his brother," I will just take you out with me then," he told him with a grin. Necros simply laughed," Afraid to tell you, I don't plan to die anytime soon. Especially not by your hands," he told Armand with a smirk as he jumped behind the computer desk Ventis was hiding under, grabbed him and jumped out of one of the broken windows backward allowing black wings to appear from his back and flew back to his mansion leaving his brother standing there dumbstruck. " He did it again!!! Damn you NECROS!" was all that was heard from Armand as they flew towards safety.
Ventis could only cling to Necros for his dear life, looking down at all of the trees they were passing. Necros chuckled slightly, causing Ventis to look up at him confused. As he looked up, Necros could see the wounds caused by his brother, they still bled heavily. If he didn't do something soon there would be a real problem on his hands, so he looked for the nearest creek and landed. "Why are we stopping here?" Ventis asked as he looked around him," We need to take care of your wound before it gets really bad," he told him as he tore part of his cloak and dipped it in the stream near them. He then approached Ventis, who was still looking around him," sit down," Necros told him. Ventis looked at him but complied, sitting on a rock near the two of them. Sighing, Necros took the part of his cloak he tore and dabbed at the wound.
"Necros, I'm sorry...I shouldn't have begged Ignatius to let me come with him. I made him feel guilty so he'd take me with him," he admitted as Necros saw to his wound. "You know, this means I can't let you go back now for a long time right? He knows who you are to me and will look for you time and time again just to hurt me. I have no way of knowing when he will come and go either," Necros told him without looking up from what he was doing. Ventis gulped not wanting to imagine what could have happened had Necros not come for him. He let a small sigh out," I know, if not for you...I don't know what would have happened to me. So, thank you" he told him clearly still shaken from the events from earlier. Necros stopped for a moment, " I don't want you to do something so foolish as this again. If something were to happen...I...don't know what I'd do, to be honest," he told Ventis looking away from him slightly. Ventis looked up at Necros in shock, was he admitting to caring for him that deeply he wondered to himself.
Once again, he checked the wound seeing that the bleeding had stopped he picked him up once more and took to the skies. This time, he didn't stop until they safely reached his home. Though, he didn't put him down even after he had gone through the front door. " Um, Necros you can put me down now," Ventis told him rather embarrassed at being carried inside bridal style. Necros smirked at him," Tonight, you will not be getting away from me, I'm afraid." He told Ventis with a mischievous look on his face. Ventis looked at him rather confused just to find that he was speaking the truth since they were now on their way down to Necros's room. This was something he did not know how to react to.
The events that had occurred had been a shocking wake up call for Necros, he couldn't keep Ventis at arm's length if he was to keep him with him. He now saw what Ignatius had meant when he told him it was not fair what he had been doing to himself and Ventis. He had been telling himself that he'd be fine without him until his brother tried to kill him. That alone, showed just how much he meant to him. Still shaken up from almost losing him, Necros refused to allow Ventis out of his sight for the remainder of the night, so he was planning to have him sleep in his room with him tonight.
Once inside of the room, Necros sat Ventis on his bed, he gave him some space so he didn't feel so overwhelmed. Ventis looked around taking in everything around him, books were all around them, though he was unsure of what language he had them in. His bed looked to be normal but if you looked up there seemed to be a mechanism that could seal the bed, if one desired. He had a black and red color scheme all around the room. Though he had a window, it was covered by a black curtain to keep the sunlight out. His eyes continued to wander for a bit then returned to Necros. He had suddenly become aware of how vulnerable he was in the room alone with him.
They gazed at each other for a moment, Necros then walked closer to Ventis. His hair draped over his shoulder slightly as he leaned down and losing himself in his emotions kissed Ventis hard on the lips. At first, he took it as a surprise and his eyes went wide but he then melted into the kiss allowing himself to fall into Necros's embrace, allowing himself to be pulled to Necros, he wrapped his arms around the back of Necros's neck as they both fell to the bed behind them. Feverishly, Necros stripped Ventis throwing his clothes to the floor as well as discarding his own clothing. His lust taking over, he pulled Ventis even closer to him biting him on the neck taking his blood into his body. Ventis had felt a sharp pain and then felt the blood draining from his body as he started to feel weaker. It had been centuries since Necros had fed on a human so he was determined to not lose control and put him into a critical state.
Hearing his heart started to become slower, Necros forced himself to stop and they continued their mixture of bites and kisses on each other. Necros had then shoved Ventis to the bed, pulling him up slightly by placing his arm in front of his waist and hoisting his lower end upward and shoving his front end down. He had then began to tease his shaft and anus whole, all the while enjoying hearing the moans Ventis would let out as he did so. Smiling mischievously, he would drag his nails lightly around on his skin, finding his special spots which caused him to cry out louder. He would tease him for a good while before he would check if he was as ready as he wanted him to be.
Noticing that he was wet, Necros prodded the anus hole with one of his fingers first and started to add one more little by little until he could comfortable fit all four of his fingers, once he was able to, he hoisted himself onto his knees keeping Ventis in place and slowly he slid his shaft into Ventis. This had caused him to cry out in a mix of pain and pleasure at first but once he had begun moving with his thrusts in a steady rhythm, cries of slight pain had become moans. When he was used to the movement, Necros only increased his speed and all through the night he would do this with Ventis. Sometimes switching positions, he had wanted to feel close to Ventis and this was the answer that came to him. Though he had fought Ignatius about it before, he leaned down and bit Ventis on the side of the neck leaving a mark there, claiming him as his own.
Once Necros was spent and satiated, he collapsed next to Ventis on his bed, pulling him close to him under the covers. It was now dawn, and though Ventis was usually up during the day; he was too worn out to get up and instead slept next to Necros the entire day. Necros had his arm wrapped around his chest and waist so even if he had woken up before Necros, there would be nowhere for him to go, as he had a tight grip around him. For a tough vampire, he seemed pretty affected by the past with his brother. Ventis wanted to know what it was that had hurt him but at the same time decided not to ask him.
Above the two of them, Ignatius and the staff were keeping up with the housework. Ignatius had gone to the school as he was requested to, informing the headmaster that Ventis would not be returning to the dorm. He was then tasked with collecting Ventis's belongings for him and taking him to his room for him, as he was still asleep when he had returned. The two of them had not woken until late into the evening, the moon was already up and it was now quiet above them. As Ventis woke and looked towards the covered window to see just how late it was, he couldn't believe it was dark already. He had slept the entire day away, he went to move to get up but found himself stuck by the strong grip of Necros.
Once Necros woke and sat up next to Ventis, he looked at him with a content smile on his face," Ventis, I am afraid that now, I simply cannot and will not let you go. I have even gone so far as to mark you as mine. Something I had planned not to do because of my brother, but I decided to do it anyway. If he tries to take you again, I will simply have to rescue you again." He told him as he looked over at him fondly. Ventis had become rather red in the face hearing what Necros had told him, though he couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. He was now deep in the world of the vampires.
