Alfonso looked at the sky while breathing hard, cursing at his bad luck.
He had to be quick, jump into the black hole from which he had no idea about where it led to and finish the Scavenger or not take the risk and let him escape...
'He knows how I look, and it won't be difficult for him to track me down...He doesn't even need to act himself, one word to the Main Clans and they will try everything to kill me...fuck!'
Alfonso stared down at the black hole, wondering where it would lead to...
"Screw it! I can't take the gamble, I have to finish that son of a b*tch!" Alfonso jumped into the black hole...
He entered the darkness, feeling himself falling while being squeezed at the same time. It was an unpleasant feeling which he had to endure.
His senses didn't seem to work in the darkness as they didn't pick anything up. It was strange, Alfonso noticed that the feeling of falling suddenly vanished and a light was right above him. He didn't think much, reaching out for the light. He felt the sensation of his hands grabbing into something solid, trying to pull it down but found out that he was pulling himself up instead...
Alfonso's vision changed and he found himself crawling out from the darkness. He had barely sticked his head out from the darkness when he was grabbed by the neck and lifted up.
Alfonso unleashed a shockwave out of reflex when he panicked, he heard a displeased snarl behind him, turning his head as best he could. What greeted Alfonso was a colossal head of a monster glaring at him.
Just one of its eyes was at least ten times his own size. His body grew limp as he stared at the monster with his eyes and mouth wide open. Then he noticed that there were many more of those colossal monsters, all glaring down at him.
'I'm so done!' Thought Alfonso in disbelief.
There were monsters tall as buildings and some even taller around him. No matter in which direction his eyes moved, there were colossal monsters looking down at him. Alfonso saw the two massive long sharp claws pinching his neck and immediately paled. That monster only had to press a little bit and his head would be sent flying.
"This is all your fault you son of a bitch!" Screamed someone near him.
Alfonso saw the Scavenger Leader also being held by another colossal monster, glaring at him like he wanted to kill him...
There was nothing the two could do, Alfonso thought about resisting but his courage vanished like a piece of ice thrown into the sun.
'Resist? What a joke! Look at these monsters. Oh my god, I'm so dead...' He wished with everything he had to go back in time and not jump into the black hole.
"Interesting..." Echoed a deep archaic voice inside his head, freezing him. He wasn't alone, the Scavenger had the same reaction too.
An invisible power engulfed them, pulling them upwards into the sky that was filled with dark clouds. Alfonso's eyes couldn't widen anymore when he saw everything around him.
Those colossal monsters beneath them filled the entire area like a mighty army. The ground was dark and barren with the sky filled with dark clouds. It seemed like the air was dark too.
Alfonso and the Scavenger stopped flying upwards, hovering helplessly in the air in front of someone sitting on a floating throne.
The throne was made of black bones, with dark smoke moving around it while floating in the air. A person wearing a black tattered robe was sitting on it, observing them with interest.
Alfonso couldn't see the person's face because it was hidden by the darkness of his hood but a feeling of terror spread through his entire being. His body began to shiver on its own, he was shocked that just one glance on the person caused such an overreaction in him.
The Scavenger hovering beside him paled too and began shaking in fear.
The way the person sitting on the throne looked reminded Alfonso of the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings...
"Really interesting..." Echoed the deep archaic voice inside his head again.
Alfonso watched in horror how dark smoke came out from the sleeves of the strange person, moving through the air in their direction. Both of them tried to struggle but the invisible power was too strong. Alfonso couldn't even use his Shockwave Manipulation, it was like he had lost any control over his body.
Both of them could only watch in horror how the dark smoke entered their bodies through their eyes, ears, nose and mouth...
Alfonso found himself standing inside the darkness, he was confused for a moment before his memories surfaced. They were like a movie playing in front of him. The past 16 years were quickly displayed in a matter of seconds, it was a surreal experience which he had no control over.
Then he returned, hovering in front of the entity sitting on the floating throne. Alfonso didn't know why but he sensed the entity's attention on them...
"Hmm..."
The strange person looked at each of them, pondering over something.
Alfonso realized that whatever the entity was, he was powerful, like a god. He could easily restrain them and make them fly, he seemed to be the master of the massive army of colossal monsters and could easily invade their minds to see their memories. The thing that Alfonso wondered about was why the memories of his past life didn't show up...
The disturbing silence was suddenly broken by loud rumbles in the horizon. Alfonso saw the dark clouds stirring, incredible roaring sounds that shook the dark air reverberated. The person lifted his head, staring to the horizon and sighed.
"My time has come..." Sounded his deep archaic voice again. He turned to the two of them again and Alfonso thought that he was focusing on him this time.
"You...I choose you..." Heard Alfonso the person speak in his mind.
He was confused, the person transformed the dark smoke into a pair of claws that plunged into his chest. Alfonso watched in horror how his heart was taken out by that person.
The dark smoke suddenly began to enter his heart and the hole in his chest. Alfonso wanted to scream from the agony he was going through, it felt like his body was being eaten from the inside out but he couldn't do anything but watch until he passed out.
The dark tattered robe of the person turned into smoke too, entering Alfonso's heart. The person looked at him for a moment before pushing the dark heart back into Alfonso's chest. With a flick of his claws, Alfonso was sent down to the dark barren ground entering the black hole from which he came from.
The humanoid entity who had pure white skin began to grow old at a visible pace, he sighed, breaking the neck of the Scavenger before sending him too through the black hole which then closed...
The six black eyes of the person stared at the horizon where countless humounges flying monsters emerged from. Alfonso would be shocked if he saw them, those were all behemoths in the sky and they were even bigger than those that appeared on Earth when the Abyss Terror happened...
"Fate is truly strange...I will die regardless of the outcome but I have at least found an heir that will hopefully screw them..." Sighed the person before directing his army towards the horizon for the last battle...
