After the meeting, Tristan was ordered by Charles and Justin to go to the workshop and pick up a new equipment for him.
So he did what he was ordered to do, Tristan went to a secluded and sketchy part of the Central District, stopping by a sturdy metal door, he did a pattern of knocks before opening the door. It was part of the security of the workshop, unless one knows how the pattern of knocks works, the door would remain locked even when bombed by a C4 plastic bomb.
Upon opening the door, a staircase leading down welcomed him. He continued descending for a minute until he saw the faint light coming from a door.
From opening it, a neatly organized workshop welcomed him, beside him, two people are quietly working on the equipments, upon the four corners of the room, it was organized, near the door was where most melee weapons such as a police baton, knives, and Katanas were located, on the left wall were assault rifles and submachine guns, the right wall was equipped with specialized equipment that was a blend of modern technology and magic, on the far side behind the counter was the big boys, .50 calibre Sniper rifles, shotguns, even machine guns, and grenade launchers.
Upon approaching the counter, a dark skinned middle aged man approached him and leaned on the counter, the man named Carlos Venezuela, known as the Merchant of Death in the underground society, he can get his hands on anything from a simple handgun to the biggest and baddest of guns, now that he works for DESTINY, He also got into the magitech game.
"How's it going, Tristan?" asked the man "are the SMGs working, okay?"
"Ah, yeah..."
"So, what do you need?"
"I was told by Mr. Justin to get the equipment needed for the operation... But he never told me anything specific"
"Ah, yeah, I got it, just wait there"
He went into the back of the room, Tristan's gaze drifted over the young woman with a light brown hair quietly working on a Rifle, by the looks of the design, it was probably a new gun that Clarissa ordered.
Soon enough, Carlos came back with a large case spanning over 100 cm. After laying it on the counter, Carlos opened it up and showed it to Tristan.
A long gray sniper rifle, nothing was unusual to the gun but the standard design, except the handle of the gun was modified for Using Blood Arts.
Carlos's smile went from ear to ear. "PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II. This bad boy, is hard to get, plus with the modifications, Charles said to give this one to you"
Tristan looked upon the rifle, he was captivated, he couldn't explain why, but the gun looked so cool, he remembered the name, he once read an article about this gun
"Wait... This one's the Hecate II?!"
"Damn straight"
"Wait, my target for this mission is a person! I thought this gun was banned for shooting at people?!"
The gun was classified as an Anti-material sniper rifle, Due to it's piercing capabilities, Hecate II was forbidden to be use against human targets and would only be used against buildings and cars.
Carlos put his hand over Tristan's shoulder "Don't be stupid kid, that was back then, this is the new world, with the supernatural known, this gun is no more than an ordinary rifle"
"But..."
"Just take it! Your target this time is a monster, there's no need to be concern about laws"
Even though reluctant, Tristan was forced to accept the gun, but he couldn't very well travel the city with a long ass suit case with a gun inside.
So as a compromise, Carlos made a special case, it's main purpose was to carry a Bass Guitar, but since the length is almost similar, the bag could conceal the gun. He also carried a small backpack with another special equipment inside.
Tristan strapped it on his back and started heading for the location.
Arriving at the location, even though it was night, it was still half past Seven, so pretty much there are still people going in and about their plans for the day. The South District was mostly where the production business is at, so most of the buildings are either research institutions or factories of some sort.
Their location on the south west which was likely the target of Bateroux, was where the most hustle and bustle are.
Tristan was supposed to be the "eyes in the sky" of the operation, therefore he had positioned on the roof over looking all five likely targets.
He pulled out the Hecate II out of the bag and set up the stand on the ledge, after setting up, he opened the other bag he was carrying.
"A drone?"
What he pulled out was another set of Goggles, a remote control and a drone shaped like a bird with a camera on the underside.
Carlos really over did the preparation for Tristan, he literally had eyes in the sky. Upon putting the goggles, and switching on the drone, the vision inside the goggles changed and showed a video footage of what was being seen on the camera inside the drone, not only that but he was being fed some other information.
"This is cool..."
Finally finished setting up, Tristan sat down beside his Sniper Rifle while overlooking the district.
[Is everyone in position?] The voice of Justin echoed from the communicator in Tristan's ear.
"I'm in position"
On the ground, Ralph and Ryan split up, walking around inconspicuous.
Mio was jumping from roof to roof while invisible searching for suspicious individuals.
Between the five targets, an empty building that gave a good vantage point to observe all five, Charles and Justin were on standby while keeping an eye towards them.
"Alright, look alive, people" Justin said while keeping an eye out the window.
Charles pressed on his communicator "Ralph, what do you see?"
