The next day Gina went to work as usual. However. She looks listless today
"Ma'am Gina, is Ma'am okay? Ma'am Gina doesn't look like herself." Risti asked when she saw Gina moping at her desk
"I'm fine"
Gina smiled slightly to the Risti. Last night she was unable to sleep well because of the painful memories of her past.
Today Gina goes on and on about her dinner. Is this day going to end well or bad? Has her father really welcomed her back or not? That thought kept filling Gina's brain.
It didn't seem like time rolled by too fast. The time had come for her to go home and go to her old house to see father who had kicked her out of the house three years ago. Gina went back to the apartment to get ready. Because his face looked pale, so she decided to put up a little makeup.
Gina walked out of her apartment and waited for a cab. She decided not to take the car because she felt her condition was bad. Along the way Gina was feeling so nervous. She likes to be mixed with fear. It would be nice if her father had decided to take her back and she was afraid if indeed this was a trap Siska and her mother made for her. But he won't find the answer if she doesn't go alone
The afternoon streets are packed with cars going to and fro after the day's work. Maybe they're driving home or having an afternoon after work. The streetlights began to light up a passing car. Gina stared blankly out the window where the car went by and on. Until she could not realize the taxi he was in had stopped at a large two-story house belonging to the atmaja family
"Miss, we're here!"
The voice of the taxi driver backed him out of the reverie. Gina paid for the cab fare and got out of the car
"Thanks," Gina said as she got out of the car
She stood long enough to gaze at the magnificent building before him. All his memories are coming back to his brain. Like a video player, his brain displays everything very clearly.
Dag dug dug dug dug
Her heart beat like crazy, accompanied his footsteps to the house she had left for almost three years. Tears are streaming down her cheeks
"Gina, you have to be strong. I'm sure papa invited you because he wants to welcome you back. She must still love you. There's no way a papa would continue to hate his own real daughter." Gina encouraged herself as soon as she stood in front of the door
After wiping away her tears and drawing Gina's deep breath into the doorbell
Ting nong ting nong ting nong
Ceklek
Soon the door of the house was opened and saw the siska standing behind the door
"Gina, you're finally going home. Come in, " says Siska with great enthusiasm
Gina went inside and saw Riko and Riska sitting in the living room, looking down at her with a look of disdain and the father out of sight
"Where's daddy?" Gina said in a cool tone
"He's still in his room, he'll be down soon"
Siska put her mouth to Gina's ear and began to whisper
"Do you think daddy has forgiven you? I invited you here, because I wanted to see how daddy would react now if he saw you. Does he hate you the same as he used to, or not?" whispered siska with his subtle smile, surprised Gina turned to siska immediately and looked at her with a look of hatred
"What do you mean?" Gina said by frowning
"Yes, I invited you because I wanted you to see the care and affection that daddy and rico have for me. They don't feel sorry for you or anything! So I want you to realize that even though 3 years is a long time, their disappointment in you never lessened at all."
Soon Daddy Budi was seen down the stairs, he glared at Gina
"It's Daddy! Daddy, look at Gina. She misses daddy so much."
Siska was so enthusiastic that her hands were placed on her shoulders as if she wanted to show her father that he was a good brother. Unbeknown, Siska's hand grabbed her so firmly on her shoulder that she wended in pain.
Gina, feeling the pain on her shoulder because of her hyped Siska fingernail, finally turned quickly to take her hands off her shoulders
"Gina! Gina! What are you doin'? Siska's been nice to you. But you tossed his hand like that."
"Never mind me, I can't help it" says Siska with her face back on plain
"Gee, a snake woman like you fits into a man with no sense of self-worth. The disgraced couple"Gina replied with a sneering smile
"Never mind! Let's go to the dinner table" Daddy Budi said in a cool tone trying not to care.
They made their way to the dining room.
The dining table over there isa rectangle. Daddy budi sat in the chair on his right, riska on his left, and Gina was then next to siska.
The great variety of foods that are on the table. From Fried shrimps, roasted cows, stir-fried vegetables to soup because Gina is allergic to seafood, so she takes the roasted beef and the stir-fried vegetables.
"Gina, try this soup. This is so good. Watch out for the heat"
"Ahhh!" Gina squeaks straight up after the hot soup spills on her hands and on her shirt
"Sorry Gina, I didn't mean to."
Siska stood up and tried to clean it with the tissue on the table
"Let go!"
"I'm really sorry, let me clean up"
"I told you to let go!"
"Ahh!"
Gina threw siska's hand so hard that it nearly fell to the ground and was arrested by rico
"Gina, what are you doing? Siska apologized and tried to clean it up. But you act that way?" shouted Riska trying to provoke
"I told her to take it off because I could do it on my own," Gina replied indifferently while taking her hand in the water
"You don't regret it at all? Apologize to siska!" says riska on the rise
"I warned her before. She's the only one who doesn't listen to me."
"Dad, look at your daughter. Was she supposed to act like that? Not saying sorry, but she doesn't feel guilty at all" Riska complained to daddy
"I told you before there's no need to invite her to dinner. Now look, she's causing a scene!" said papa budi, who was getting emotionally ignited
"Come here! You still haven't learned your lesson by just getting kicked out of here. I will teach you to never hurt Siska again!" unconscionable
"Let go! Let me go!"
