" Well isn't it the most powerful woman in the business world , Stella " Nicholas stood up and pulled out a handshake and of course i had to return on back , he sat back down and i sat opposite him and told Baji and Charlie to stand aside.
"So what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you Nicholas? Your call seemed rather shocking since we have not seen each other for I don't know for almost 4 years ?" i said and crossed my legs
"Well, let's get back together shall we? " he said with a smile on his face.
"Hahaha . Baji Lock the door. ( Clicked ) , Why all of a sudden ? I mean weren't you happy with Lucy ? when you cheated on me behind my back? And according to you she was the best at everything oh oh! I was the one busy working my ass off to get where I am today . " i said and let out a smile
"I regret what I did back then, I really do . Since you don't have a boyfriend I just assume you would still love me after all these years . " he said and let out a sigh …
"Nicholas Ohh my what a fabulous surprise coming out from you HAHAHAHAHA , sadly i'm pregnant and have a boyfriend. " i said and let out a smirk
"Oh wow , you're expecting that's a surprise , but I thought you said you didn't want to have kids? " he asked
"Oh you know things change overtime especially with the correct people right Honey ? " i turned my head and looked at Baji and he nodded his head Thank goodness he got my queue
"I see , with that being said , I guess you aren't going to return my love ? " Nicholas asked
"Now why would I do that? ( Draws out the gun from the back ) Now talk before i shoot " i said directly to Nicholas who has both his hands up in the air.
"Now Stella, let's put the gun away , I didn't come here to get violence. " Nicholas' voice started to shake and tremble at the same time Draken and Charlie also drew their weapons but I told them to keep it . since it was just between me and Nicholas for now
"Why did you come here then ? " I asked
"To get you back, " Nicholas said. I fired the gun to the empty spot next to him causing him to shrivel in fear
"The truth now" I said .
"OKAY OKAY! , THE GUY ETHAN CALLED AND TOLD ME TO SETTLE THINGS WITH YOU !" Nicholas yelled at the top of his lungs and I let out a small laugh followed by a smirk .
"Draken , Charlie Knock him out " i said and walked over to my desk to bring out some paperwork and shoved it into my bag and packed my bag , Draken and Charlie did what they were told and bound the guy together and knocked him out
Once we were done we packed up our stuff and headed for the car . I told HR to inform the rest of the office people not to OT during the weekend . and she noted that we left the office and headed for home . We tossed Nicholas body in the trunk and drove back home , and i handed the gun back to Baji and he took it back
When we got home we headed straight for the basement and did the same thing to Nicholas, bound him to the chair and locked the door and went to the dining table to have dinner together with everyone else.
Everyone quickly sat down and started eating the food in front of them and yes the table conversation was great, no longer quiet and nothing to say once everyone was done with dinner we helped to clean up the dishes and I told everyone to follow me to the basement when we were done with whatever we were doing. So everyone entered the basement and stood around the room . I pulled out a table for the twins to set up their equipment and a chair for me to sit down . i nodded my head and Charlie and Draken woke the 2 men up only to hear them making muffling sounds coming out of them
"Hi , morning don't bother screaming, nobody can hear you . " i said and pulled out my gun and held it in my hand
"Its simple , since this Ethan guy is the one behind this scheme's tell me where is he and i will let you go. " i said with a smile on my face
Both of them looked at each other and shook their heads from left to right
"If you don't tell me , you'll die here in my hands " i said and reloaded the gun in my hand "Boss, Ethan is in London, " Rin said .
"Well thank goodness for that. Now who recruited you " i said and pointed the gun at the guy who attacked me at the carpark. He still shook his head from left to right ,
"Finee , you made me do this . I stood up and stood in front of him and placed the gun above his thigh and pulled the trigger shot through the chair too The muffling screams started and Nicholas' face turned white after I pulled the trigger as well as everyone else in the room.
"What did you guys think I couldn't pull the trigger? Come on , Baji tell them I pulled it just now in my office too, HAHAHA now it must have hurt right? If not why are you screaming , like I said we can do this the easy way tell me who recruited you and I will let you go .`` I said and sat back on the chair . i handed my gun over to Charlie and told them to remove the tape from their mouth
"If you scream I will fire another one . I don't care if it hurts to be honest , you made me do it. So to the point I will count to 3. Give me a name and I will let you go . " i said.
"1 … 2… i am not getting any younger here , 2 and a half " i said
"EMMA! Her name is Emma ! " The guy said , i nodded my head and told Draken to untie him and hold him tight
"See, was it difficult to tell me a name? Shane , Rin Get me a location on Emma now " i said and Charlie helped me put my coat on. I took the duct tape from the shelf and taped his mouth again .
"Twins , i'm leaving you to interrogate Nicholas here , will be back before midnight and send me the location of Emma thank you ! " I said and walked out the door with the rest of them .
We got into the van and shoved the guy in and we got on board and drove to the suburbs area and once we got the location on Emma she's in the hotel in the city we threw the guy on the road side and i rolled down the window and shot him on the leg again and rolled up the window again and gave the address to Draken and he took us there,
When we got to the hotel, I asked the staff to get me a room on the highest floor and they did. We went up there and called Rin and Shane and they told us she is just below us which was amazing since there is a balcony there I will just jump in myself. And climb back up when I'm done.
"Okay the plan is rather simple, i think her balcony door is open , i will sneak in and kidnap her you just wait for me on the balcony . ``I said and removed my coat and my shoes.
"Boss, have you done this before? " Baji asked.
"Tons of times " I said and attached the carabiner and the ropes on the edge of the balcony and gave the boys a flying kiss and jumped down and they looked down immediately and saw me enter the room below ours
I entered the room and everything was on . but she wasn't around so i snuck around the room a little and found out she's in the shower and it was the perfect opportunity to attack so i entered the shower quietly and girl don't sing in the bathroom it's weird to sing while you shower but i just shook it off and opened the curtain and she got the shock of her life but whatever , i quickly knocked her out from the back of her head and her body collapsed onto mine . I quickly wrapped her in the bathrobe and attached her to the ropes and transported her back up and Draken and Baji carried her up and into the room while I snuck around her room a while longer taking her belongings and paperwork .
And when i opened the drawer of the study desk , i found a ring it looks like it belonged to my mother but whatever i'll have one of the boys to check on it for me so i packed up everything and came up by the balcony again and Draken took the bag while i detach myself from the ropes
"She's out , good thing she was in the shower made my job easier . anyways we should leave now " i said and put my coat and shoes on we went straight to the carpark and headed back home and bound her to the chair in the basement . Rin was busy interrogating Nicholas and he still refused to give us the proper information.
"Boss , wait isn't this Emma? " Shane pointed it out
"Yup, I knocked her out with ease . " i said and removed my coat and tossed the bag to Rin
"Check whatever she has in there. How is the interrogation coming along? " i asked and flopped on the couch
"Well so far he said , i won't tell , i won't tell and i won't tell so we beat him up a few times and now his knocked out again " Rin said
"Damn tough luck huh … but good work guys , I will continue the interrogation tomorrow . with a fresh mind you guys should rest. " i said
Everyone packed up the stuff and headed out the basement and I closed and locked it before heading to my room to have a nice shower and do some work in the meantime. I was up till 2am and i got bored and went to check on the boys and they were fast asleep goodness they snore pretty loud too , then i headed down to the basement to check on the 2 guest and looks like Emma's awake i closed the door behind me and entered the room and took out the gun from the desk drawer and dragged a chair and sat in front of her.
"God it's so nice to see you again Emma, how have you been? " i said , all she could do was muffle
"Well i'm sure you are very happy to see me too , now i have a serious question , if you don't tell me the truth i will shoot you. When I remove the tape from your lips if you scream you die. Understood ? " i said while she nodded her head vigorously then i slowly peeled off the tape from her lips letting her catch her breath
"Now , who gave you that ring in the drawer in your hotel ? " I asked.
"It was your father ." she said and inhaled deeply
" Who hired you to assassinate me ? " I questioned her .
"No one , I did it all by myself" She said and lowered her head.
I obviously didn't believe a word she said and sealed the tape back on and knocked her out once more and left the room in complete darkness , i went back to my room and laid in bed but i simply couldn't … this stayed until i went to the front yard and sat there and stared at the plain night sky .
Someone pushed the door open to find it was Charlie , I patted the space next to me and he sat beside me. We sat like that for awhile before i spoke
"Can't sleep ? " i asked without even looking at Charlie
"Baji's snoring is annoying and it's hard to sleep even my ear plugs don't help haha" Charlie replied with a smile
I giggled a little and laid down on the ground and Charlie did the same as well .
"Are you going to the office tomorrow? "
"No , i'll be home, it's unsafe to be in the office right now " i replied
"What will you do when you find Damien ? "
"I don't know either… but do you think I should keep the kid?" i asked
"Boss , that's not up to me either , do you want to be a single parent? "
"You know when I was growing up I didn't have a proper family and now I am starting a family on my own … it's amazing… and what my ex is supposedly alive but doesn't want to reunite with me ? because he wants my power and money. " i said and let out a sigh
"Can I ask , what happened when the camera started flashing at you ?"
" i remembered the words on what my father said to me when i was young and what seemed to be Damien's voice and i was in bed but i couldn't recognised the room but from what i can remember is he was telling me something about power " i replied sigh afterwards
"I see , you should rest boss you will have a long day later. " Charlie replied and slowly sat up and looked at me with his head tilted slightly , i let out a giggle and got up and gave him a patted on the shoulder and went back into the house with him and into my room . From there all I could ever think about was just what am I going to do with Damien when I see him …
