Draken came into my office to help me sort out the boxes and moved it down to the storeroom to keep whatever that isn't necessary to me. I switched on some music to help me think through the whole process. Draken is also very quiet . I suppose the rest of the boys are helping out in the kitchen if not helping around the house. I was finally done with my 5th box and there are still like 10 boxes to sort out.
"Uhm Boss, mind if i use the restroom? " Draken asked. I simply nodded my head and he left . I sat in my home office and stared blankly at the screen and my eyes wandered to a picture on the shelf opposite my desk. I stood up and walked towards it. It was really high up and I couldn't reach it .
I dragged a very unstable chair and climbed on top of it standing on one feet trying to grab it before i knew it managed to grab it but the chair suddenly slipped and i just shut my eyes before i could scream at the top of my lungs someone caught me , i opened my eyes to see Baji he places me back down gently on the sofa
"What were you thinking boss… doing something dangerous like this " Baji said in such a stern tone
"My bad, I just wanted to take this photo down from the shelf … " i said looking down at the photo then suddenly Draken came in
"Ouh? What happened? " He questioned. "Baji what did you do to Boss?" he said as he stepped forward.
" What did I do?" Baji answered back
" Baji came to my rescue , i climbed on top of a unstable chair and slipped " i answered
Both of them didn't say another word to each other but just continued to settle the mess around the room. I sat on the couch and admired the photo of Me and Diamen from our first meeting in Taiwan …
Time went by and i didn't even know i had been staring at the photo close to an hour before Draken snapped out of my thoughts
"Boss , the sorting has been completed, " Draken said.
"Ah …. Sorry i haven't sorted my portion of the pile " i said and looked around to see the whole area so clean and tidy
"Already did it for you Boss ," Baji replied
"Ahh thank you boys " i said , i got up from the couch and placed the photo on the table and sat on the chair looking at another stack of papers…
"Boss , could I ask you a question?" Baji said
"Sure , shoot oh you both can sit down must be tired from sorting out the boxes " i said while looking at all the paperwork
" Who is that man in the photo you were staring at for a long time? " Baji asked
"You really are a curious person, haha well , he's the father of this kid in me . but i'm not married to him " i said
"Oh ? why ?" Draken asked
"He died before we could even get married … it was going to be our 4th anniversary and i was preparing a trip to London and will only be back after a month we decide to postpone the celebration to when i get back but a week before i'm supposed to leave i gotten a call from His dad telling me he died on route to the airport because of a car crash… He was going to the airport to surprise me by flying into Paris , France then back to the states when i'm leaving for London … yeah and that was when i also found out i was pregnant with his kid . ``I said and let out a sigh and placed the photo in the drawer of my desk .
Both of them didn't say a word but nodded their heads, I lifted up my head and smiled at them . " That just happened a month ago and I am trying to get over his death. It is more painful for his parents due to the fact that he is the heir to the Company in the States. " i said
"Any chance he might have survived the crash?" Draken asked
"When I got there his parents told me his body was badly burnt and died on site " I replied and signed the document .
" a set up car crash perhaps?" Baji said .
"Impossible , his parents last saw him hours before he left for the airport. Don't bother, I myself have tried to rule out the possibilities of him being alive but I guess he's really gone. I just have to accept the fact and move on. I'm guessing you guys have also experienced this kind of loss before ? to a point you want them to be alive but sadly they aren't right? " I replied and signed another document.
"We have… he was the cry baby of the gang and the weirdo I suppose" Draken said.
"I understand, but it's in the past now and that's all it matters. '' I replied .
"Yes of course but we will never forget him, " Baji said.
"Good , you guys can roam around if you like , Pram will ask you for assistance if needed. By chance you guys have met Mdm Tan? " i said and stood up
Both of them shook their heads and I nodded my head and told them to follow me. We headed down to the kitchen to see Mdm Tan , Pram and Charlie busy making dinner in the kitchen .
"Guys this is Mdm Tan my cook? Some sort? She handles the food in the kitchen and will only be around if I'm home, by any chance I'm out of the country she doesn't have to come in but if you guys wanna learn how to cook she can teach you , Right Mdm Tan?
"Ah yes , Ms Wong , oh my they are awfully tall! Come give Mdm Tan a hug " She scrambles over to hug Baji and Draken which made them very awkward but still smiled
"What are you guys cooking tonight , i'm starving " i said
" You my dear are going to be eating porridge " Mdm tan said and smiled .
"HUH?! BUT I'M CRAVING FOR SOMETHING SOUR AND SPICY ! " I wined and gave my cute face .
"You will know later Ms Wong , now go and get some fresh air , its bad for you to stay indoors all the time " Mdm Tan nagged at me and pushed me away as well as Draken and Baji
I just sighed and walked away to the garden that I never even bothered to go there, but when I stepped outside it was so gorgeous , the Twins were decorating the garden on my behalf. They took notice that i entered the area and quickly dropped whatever they were doing and came running to me .
" Boss! What are you doing here! , you should be in bed resting ! " Shane questioned
"Boss you should really be resting " Rin said
"Why are you guys so worried about me , one told me to get some fresh air and others telling me to be bed bound " i said and sighed
"Do you want to head back inside? " Draken Asked
"No , I want to walk as much as I can before this kid destroys my body, '' I said . i continued to walk around the garden to find that the boys had planted Tomatoes , Lemons and loads of fruits
"Woah you guys did all of this ? " i asked the twins
"Well we bought the seeds and started planting , your garden looked dead and Pram asked us if we would like to do something about it " Rin replied in a very monotone voice
"I see, thank you for making it alive again , even the patio is set up nicely . oh i need to tell pram to call the pool cleaners to come and clean the pool " i said
"YOU HAVE A POOL?!" Everyone asked
" Look to your right, that big ass shelter is hiding the pool, wanna take a look ?" i asked
I brought everyone over to the other side and activated the button to remove the covers of the pool to see a very disgusting pool hahahahaha! I mean I don't use it often and usually Damien will be the one using it, not me .
"WOAH!!!!" All of them said at the same time.
"Its not clean so please don't jump in , looking at the weather lately it has been rather hot , i'll see if Pram could get the pool cleaners to clean the pool for us to use over the weekend alright " i said
Everyone cheered and nodded their heads , woah this feels like i'm taking care of huge ass kids who never saw a pool the premises before amazing , i smiled to a point my eyes was smiling too this is weird i rarely smiled like this until Damien passed away . . .
Shane and Rin continued to do their garden work and I headed to the garage to see the cars and showed them my collection. I am kind of a car collector myself.
"Woah , Boss this is amazing " Baji said
"Thank you , I'm a car collector myself hahaha , feel free to test the engine though keys are in the compartment of the cars. " i said and got into my red Ferrari , and twisted the key and let the engine sound then stepping on the accelerator paddle and the sound is just amazing and it got the boys excited
I let them rev the engine of almost all of my cars until I removed the sheets of Damien's car . his favourite Mercedes AMG GT i stared at it for a while before Baji came over and looked at the car.
"Are you Alright Boss?" He asked
"This is Damien's car, '' I said and placed my hand on it to let out a sigh .
"Do you want us to cover it back up ? " Draken asked .
" Actually , do you want to go for a drive? " I asked them
"Are you sure ? " Baji asked?
"Draken just quickly went and grabbed my phone and handbag " I said , he nodded his head and dashed to grab my stuff when he came back , Baji and i were already in the car , so he got in the back and drove off to where my hands wanted to go .
I released the roof of the car and let the wind flow. I decided to drive near the sea and arrived at the beach. I parked the car by the side and everyone got out of the car and walked with me along the sea side which made Baji freaked out .
We walked for a while more before going to the restrooms to clean our feet from sand and got back into the car and drove off again this time we drove to town , with hundreds of people crossing and walking around shopping .
I drove into the carpark of the busiest mall in town and everyone got out , and we went to the first floor to do some shopping. Even though i'm still dressed in this dress the boys didn't look too shabby either nahh what am i thinking come on Stella...
We entered Cartier first and I was brought in by my usual sales staff , Mel. She brought us the latest designs of rings, necklaces and bracelets . but i wasn't so interested in the necklaces i told her to show me some other designs of rings and bracelets
"I'm sure your boyfriend would love these matching bracelets . " she said and went in awee mood
"Im sure he does, hehe" i looked at Baji and Draken who made a little cough , she quickly went out of the room to grab some bottles of water
"Boss , Are you considering buying the bracelets?" Draken asked.
"I mean it is really pretty and it comes in pairs , she doesn't know Damien has passed, no harm could be done to be honest , do you guys want anything ? " i asked and put on the bracelet on my wrist
" No no no we couldn't possibly let you spend something so expensive on us ! " Draken exclaimed
"Hmm , I see , then I will have to do this the hard way then . " i said and turned back to face the table
Both of them scratched their heads curiously .
"Here, have some water and fruits. They are complimentary ! " Mel said , the boys are majority of the fruits while i ate like a slice of melon and water that's it , then i whispered some thing to Mel while the boys are distracted
" Could you show me some earrings for the guys , " i whispered
"Yes of course " She whispered back and went to grab the men's earrings
The boys were still busy munching and enjoying the fruits and Mel came back with the Earings and I took one and compared with a few that also caught my eye but the one i'm holding caught my attention most , its yellow gold , with a diamond in the center its thick enough .
" Give me the Couple pair bracelet and this earring i want 5 pairs wrap it up nicely pls " i said
She nodded her head and went to gather the items for me to check , I turned around and the boys asked for another bowl of fruits which was kinda funny , i have never seen them so engrossed in fruits before.
" We are going to eat dinner soon , don't keep eating fruits " i said and giggled a little
"Yes Mam!" they said while they had their mouths stuffed with watermelon how cute
