I didnt have the strength to deny him, nor the patience to explain. Well... I'll gain some good karma now. Its not like she'll be able to pull anything without me... And Damian is a fucking airhead...

It must have been 3 hours after i slept, but then i got a text from Christine. When i opened it, I regretted sending Damian and not telling Christine not to come.

And below it i see a number which my phone recognizes as Fancy Talk. Which is Damian.

Well, it wasnt the worst that could happen. After all they didnt clear out the biggest misunderstanding. I see another text.

My eyes suddenly snap open. Im lying on my bed, body feeling a bit better. I rushed to my phone and checked the texts. It was a dream. I sighed out of releif. But then i couldnt close my eyes again. That dream was enough to give me goosebumps!
I checked my temperature. 38.3 degrees. It was risky, but i had to. I couldn't stand waiting there for Damian to get home. I felt a bit dizzy, but i could walk. When i checked the time, 3 hours had passed since morning. And there were no texts or anything yet.
Yeah i could do this!
Just then my door swung open. It was my neighbour, Aubrey. "Sit down dear, you need rest!"

CHRISTINE POV
Oh. Damian just sneezed. I wonder who was thinking about him... Well if that myth was true he would sneezing 24/7!
But... It was really hard blending in with all his college friends. They were people i had never seen. One of girls even touched Damian so casually!!!
Well, thats expected... He's so handsome, i guess im not the only one who noticed... I wonder if he's into college girls... Or whether he would be interested in younger girls... Nothing would get started if i cant pluck the courage... Or atleast if i knew more about him, I would be able to talk to him as casually as his friends. I thought I would be satisfied by just being able to watch him from a distance. But i wonder why, i feel my heart throb and wishing i could just talk to him for once.

Even though i went through the trouble of selecting such a bold swimsuit...
I sighed.
"Are you sad he isn't here?" My favourite voice asks me. I look up to see Damian with 2 cans. He hands me one.
Crap! I'd never seen him up close... I had to say something! But wait! I had to choose what i said carefully! What way?! Speak up, Christine!
"Hi, umm... Damian..." i managed. Wait should I have said 'What's up' or 'How you?'??? Who the hell says 'Hi' ??
He let out a light laugh. "It's alright, I wont bite." that made me laugh a bit.
"What am I, A kindergartener?" i say through giggles."
"I can see why Dylan's fallen heads over heels for you..." he whispers to himself. I choose to not respond. But my heart chooses to. I could feel it thumping away in my chest. My face and ears started to heat up. Did that mean that he acknowledged my charm???
I took the can from him, being careful not to klutz anything.
"Hey you know how to kayak? Dylan loves kayakking. Next time when he's not sick you can take him there."
"But im not too familiar with it..." i manage to say. "But it sounds fun, so I'd love to try it."
"Well, you're lucky, cuz ill teach you how to kayak! And also something special to get up close and personal with him." He winked. Omg! He did NOT just do that!
"Wha... Wha..." i stammered, at a lose of words for what he just pulled off.
"We aren't anything like that!" i yell out unexpectedly. "Its just that i wanted something... And he was there by chance to help me... And... That stupid shrimp saw you and tried to run away... And somehow he caught my hands..." I start blushing uncontrolllably at thr thought of holding hands.
"So, you guys aren't dating? So are you friends?"
I didnt say anything back. What were we? I couldnt say he was just an acquaintance. But was he a friend?
I guess i didnt speak for while.
"It's alright if you can't decide where your heart is. If its soemthing bugging your conscience i can help you out. Cuz ive been through it myself."
Just then, as if by fate, his friends came over and started suggesting playing Truth or Dare.
"Like i said its nothing like what you think." i whispered but i guess what i was trying to say got lost in the crowd of the others trying to talk him into playing...
I wonder whether it was the can, or whether it was the fact that i was desperate to be by his side, i blurted out the last I'd expect myself to say.
"Let me in on Truth or Dare guys!"
I went and said it... There was no turning back now.
Ight guys I'm sorry but i need a bit more time thinking up this day... After all it is my first go at soemthing like this. Guess I'm the biggest virgin besides Dylan and Christine😂😂😂
