Chapter 34 - - A girl -

A girl can't wear a dress,

A girl can't show her legs,

Because if she does,

She's just "asking" for it.

A girl should keep silent,

A girl was taught,

Whenever a guy stares at you,

Just keep your head down and walk.

A girl is assaulted,

A girl is left to die on the streets,

Nobody bothers to help her,

Because they know it'll be messy.

A girl should feel protected,

A girl should feel safe,

Yet here we are,

Going over the same thing.

A girl is fighting,

Another one dying,

When are these going to stop?

Please just make it end.

A girl is dead,

Another far up high in the clouds,

We have to start fighting,

It's time for justice to be found.

This is dedicated to all the girls out there. You are not alone, we have to stick together and fight this broken system. There are many out there who still haven't got their justice. I don't get what's so hard in understanding "NO MEANS NO". Just because we wear dresses or skirts doesn't mean we're asking for it. Nobody is ever asking for it. To be honest it's not just females who go through this hell , there are men too. It's time we voice out and spread the message. You are not alone🖤🕊️.

Love,

C🦋
