It's no use locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.
When the consequences of your mistake already happen, you can't never turn it back. You'll just end up keep trying while the wound of that mistake will still resurface again and again . Although it gets healed when time goes by, the scar will remain. And that scar will jog your memory forbidding you to run away no matter how you tried.
I open my eyes feeling warm for the first time, but the dim lighted ceiling welcome me that brought fear in my system. My body gets paralyzed all of a sudden, I can't move even just a little. An image of a man holding a gun form a silhouette, I wanted to shout but I can't find my voice. I hold the comforter tightly finding strength and with one last try I scream loud that finally echo in the whole room followed by a sound of a broken glass somewhere.
