[The Demon's God Pursuit: Arc 17]
Once upon a time, on Planet Earth, a young girl was born; the story goes that her identity was never adequately clarified, but she was effectively known as the 'Holy Light.'
Her title depicted the real life of one's planet. Humankind did not know the Dimensions that had appeared alongside her birth, only of the Spirits that had been destroyed or disappeared.
The woman... The Holy Light, the heir of all the inhabitants, was not born alone. The arrival of the Demon God, whose name was Rez, caused anarchy, and humanity was on the brink of extinction.
Humans terrified him because of his recklessness and hunger for blood, and Demons started to manifest all over the Earth and The World of Zero, alongside alternate races such as The Inner Fiends, The Shades, Wraiths, and Spirits.
To combat the challenge, a new breed of people has awakened, the 'Spiritual Duelists' and 'Substitute-Duelists,' who have been dubbed the "First Army to Face Evil."
With their Legendary Weapons, the Ginken. This swarm of humans increased the world's cleanliness to the greatest extent possible, overwhelming the Demons of various grades and placing their survival at risk.
But, after several years of waiting, the 'Holy Light' gave birth to a human child, a girl of theoretically greater worth than Zero herself, but unlikely to become the next 'Holy Light,' their Goddess gave the girl to a friendly family, and since her mother needed to participate in protecting the divinity, the girl's memories were wiped.
But there is another royalty trapped within the shadows that have been concealed for millennia, even longer than the birth of a Demon...
The only one who has beaten the 'Holy Light's own is the Fiend Lord. Its lurkers will undoubtedly be wiped out, and the newfound foe will ready the battlefield...

Once stepping to the front of the three Arcane Duelists, the morning breeze of the wind had been ruling through Yashikami City.
"Is that her?" Kenta was perplexed, staring squarely at the woman as she approached them. "You must be the three Arcanes I've been told about... It's a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Koizumi Eva, and I am a high-level Arcane Duelist from the year 2021." She explained as she extended her gentle arm forward.
"... So you're the one who's been assigned to accompany us?" Kenta was thinking of a surprise as he believed. And it's simple to prove.
"So, then... I'm Kichirou, and these two are Kenta and Taro... Middle Tier Arcanes... I think we're looking forward to working with you." Kichirou explained while carrying his suitcase. "What is the middle tier? Do you think you'll be able to defeat the 'Demon God' with his sibling?" Eva, who was very stubborn, questioned me.
"So... How exactly do we plan to scout the 'Half-Demon' or possible Demon God of the future?" Taro pondered this while keeping his left hand in his left pocket and a suitcase in his right.
"The first step, of course, is to look for his name. I may have some suggestions about how to look. We'll use the VDA to hunt down the siblings until we've determined his name. From there, we'll devise a strategy to kill him." Eva claimed, lifting her suitcase and pressing the button until a tablet cane grew from it.
She swiped her finger and started looking for the right identity, and after walking on it and verifying the current location, she successfully came into touch with Codey's profile.
"These people do not have the same technologies as we have. This means they can only use GPS, while we can use VDA and use it to seek as well as a map..." Although the three boys were intrigued, Eva said.
"You found it quickly..." Kenta's eyes blinked. "Yes, I did. He's one of the city's Top Tier Duelists, so he was easy to find... On the other hand, it seems that he is still at the Guild, so this is our first objective... to enter the Guild and devise a scheme to kill all of the siblings..." Eva started to explain it.
"Here are all the information we need about this person... He was the one who got rid of the previous Demon God, and it appeared that he was the murdered God's son... So, though he may have rescued us from extinction, I believe he is still capable of being the next. This means that if he does become one, we will almost certainly become extinct... When he awakens, no one will be able to compete with his strength..."
Eva clarified as she closed the tablet.
"We've learned that there were two other Duelists in the 'Underworld,' and I think their names were Shinkaku Tim and Kirashito Ayuka... They seem to be his associates, so we will need to kill them as well..." Kichirou marketed with a solemn expression.
"I'm confident we won't have to think about them... We just need to execute all of the siblings at the same time, and we'll be over..." Eva glared at them as she lowered the suitcase near her right hip.
"I'm confident we won't have to stress about them... We just need to execute both of the two siblings at the same time, and we'll be over..." Eva glared at them as she lowered the suitcase near her right hip.
"I guess... So, why don't we pay them a quick visit..."
- Gyuma City, Friday, 9:00 am -
Tim glanced down at his spread sword as sweat slowly dripped down his brow.
"What exactly are you asking for? Make use of your skill. If you just stand there and do nothing, you'll never understand how to manipulate it... or how to emit it..." Tim's eyes were frightened as Karou spoke. ("Do I really want this power? It's crazy, and if it comes into touch with anyone I care for, I'm sure the effects will be neither simple nor acceptable...") Tim spoke up, his right arm trembling incessantly.
Yet Tim's jaw shook as he extended his sword further, at which point illumination of blazing white emerged and started to ramble outward, ragingly and wildly, as the blade was lifted as the flames proceeded to zoom in on his chest.
"Don't make that mistake again! Please, you need to start learning how to concentrate!" When Tim's hair was waving and rippling, Karou spoke up, nervous.
("Damn! It's been over a week and I still haven't taken the first move! Why is it so difficult to regulate this ability? I'm such a moron! I'm so worthless! Why won't it just burn properly? Why, why, why...?! ") Tim's eyes shook as he saw how they exploded right into his chest, but at that moment, a hand reached for his elbow, and he saw Eri gripping his right arm.
"E-Eri?! W-Wait, what are you doing?! You're going to get fried!" Tim called, worried, as she closed her eyes, concealing the melting flesh. "It makes no difference... The fire is extinguishing itself like a roaring hurricane... you must cool down and concentrate on your thoughts... If the fire is too powerful for you and refuses to conform to your body, you should tie it as one..." When Tim stared at the floor, he found her skin was hardly healed and the words she was speaking helped to settle him down.
Within a few seconds, the fire started to calm down and the heat decreased. "I-I suppose... T-Thank you so much, Eri..." Tim took a deep breath and felt for his heart with his left hand.
Although the sword replicated itself in the light, his spirit inside his heart detonated its fury and slowed down. Tim's posture lightened as he shifted his weight to the side, at the height of his shoulders.
The white burning flames started to wave slowly, patiently, and increased their fire, making Tim feel the heat against his skin, but he had no choice but to avoid it, once his pulse continued to peacefully pound within the sync of the flames, waving.
"He's doing it... He might be able to keep it up for a minute or so..." When Tim bent his body over, reaching with the sword behind his back, while his hair continued to wave like a hurricane, when the earth underneath him started to melt like a liquid with its immense heat, when the white burning flames continued to rapidly spread themselves backward, making Kaoru feel terrified, Kaoru spoke.
When Tim's body continued to hold on close, the flames grew in size and whistled, at which point he crouched his left leg and saw the white light, flickering in the city's windows, as Kaoru prepared to swipe to defend.
However, owing to Tim's annihilating strength and fatal fire, he was at a loss about what to do. Suddenly, Tim tensed his right foot and accelerated forward as the white flames began to blaze outrageously, at which point a white light emerged in Kaoru's vision, surprising him.

As Tim grabbed for his right sword above his head, the white flames lighted the area and cast a shadow within it, Tim reached for the handle with both hands, while the white flames spun themselves high up in the air.
"Ultimate Eruption!" Tim stabbed overhand with the sword as he saw Kaoru fleeing from the position, and with it, the surfing flames and the thin blade were battered against the floor thus strengthening his own physical ability, and with the last second, the blade was hit at the ground.
Once the floor exploded and white flames rose in front of him like flaming poles in the shape of spikes, Kaoru immediately crossed the sword in front of him and felt the overwhelming heat engulf him.
Tim's body strode to the side, while Eri smiled and noticed when a white spark burst by her right side of the face and also noticed how Kaoru was unable to defend the attack and was quickly folded into them, with fury and disastrous event, the flames exploded into whiteness at which moment, Tim's eyes shook when seeing the blood already, splattering out.
However, as much as Tim was stunned by how deadly this fire was, Eri was shocked when a large amount of blood pooled on the cement, beneath Tim's right arm, eliminating the skin and melting it while his bones bulged out as Tim's eyes were emotionless.
"I-I... D-Did it...?" But the moment he said that Tim's body slumped over and the sword was dropped aside, while his body was pinned on the floor and his body had totally passed out due to a lack of conserved energy.
- Yashikami City, Friday, 9:22 am -
When Eva went forward and rang the doorbell, the four Arcane Duelists had finally taken their entry to the front of the Guild's entrance.
Someone opened the door at that very moment, and the individual doing so was taken aback.
"W-What exactly are you doing here? Aren't you one of those 'Arcane Duelists'?" questioned Kylin, but as soon as Kylin spoke, Eva's suitcase was opened, and she reached for one of her daggers, leaning it against Kylin's neck, and immediately made her surrender.
"We are... However, w e've come here, to exterminate Katorishi Codey and his baby sister. Their material and the huge threat to our survival are on the brink of eradicating humanity. We must kill him for they could be the 'next' Demon God. Bring us to him before we peel these weapons and place you in the same room as those two siblings." Kylin was at a loss for what to do as she kept her hands high over her head.
("Arcane Duelists... These were the last army we wanted to face...") Kylin was convinced and worried.
- Yashikami City, Friday, 9:25 am -
"... Thank you, Codey... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thankful for halting the call before I was arrested..." Elliot talked as his hair was hiding his face in front.
"... Tsch ... I was too gentle, I should have just kept the dumb call going..." Codey took a step back while reaching for a bottle of water.
To be continued...
